Since Royal Swifty is the coolest Swift Wind ever and he's also white in the cartoon.

Unless they'll release a "toy" version She-Ra with her figure outfit, then I'ld want a pink one also!

On the show- Arrow was light brown(tan) in color. the toy was blue. As a fan of the show Swiftwind should be white....I never did care for the Pink SWIFTY.
He was white in the books also.

Ehh, Swiftwind is not an essential character to me but if I'm going to get him as part of my 2011 subscription I guess I would prefer him to be white. It'll make the blood stand out more when Panthor mauls him and severs his jugular.

Why don't they just do both versions so everyone can get the color they prefer? They'd probably sell more that way too because of all the variant collectors.

I'm assuming this was a typo, but I laughed when I read it nonetheless...

How is white "really garish", but pink isn't?

It's not so much the white color of the animated Filmation Swift Wind as the orange hair, tail, mixed with the various colors of the wings, etc... the overall color scheme of the cartoon version looks awful to me. At least the classic toy looks consistent to me, from the wings to the harness to the horse color... it all looks good together while the Filmation version kind of looks like a mess.

I'm a big fan of how the classic PoP toys look and don't really care for how Filmation sort of dumbed-down and reimagined some of the characters' designs, so I imagine I'm going to feel this way every time a new PoP figure is introduced into the MOTUC toyline. I'm always going to prefer Glimmer the '80s action figure to her sort of spandex-clad "flat" appearance in Filmation.
Well, at least I know when Mattel gets to Clawdeen, we'll be getting a giant pink lion... LOL... they can't vote their way out of that one... as she/he/it was pink in both the Filmation cartoon, the packaging, and the original toy appearance

WOW...Ok...um, as ToyGuru has said MANY times, this is a collection of the entire licensing for the MOTU/POP/NA/200X World. I have faith in the 4H that they will bang out Swifty to look ridiculously amazing, no matter what color he is. They've done amazing jobs on all characters and beast so far. I mean, Battlecat is exquisite and orko is the way he's always should've been...to scale.

If that flippen already highly campy looking unicorn is pink, it will officially be the first MOTUC I will not be buying.
I can get over white because Pegasus from the original Clash of the Titans was white.

Swift Wind has to look like he's part of the line and we are already pushing the boat out with She-Ra's lame glittery mask.

Whatever about the masculine, cool is not a word I would ever accociate with a winged pink unicorn. MOTU must remain cool. That what made it so popular in the first place.

I prefer White, but I'm not a real POP fan.

Man, I really feel like this is something we should ALL be given the opportunity to vote on, not just folks attending SDCC. We're all effected by this decision and just as passionate about this line.

Forget rappers & their record labels, Mattel is what's causing the bad blood between the East Coast & West Coast. Luckily most POP fans don't carry guns on them.

In all seriousness, I hate the way Mattel gives preference to SDCC in terms of voting on things & in terms of exclusives. I know it's not going to change since they are a California based company, but for someone who has never gone to a comic convention and lives in the Midwest, it seems unfair.
