That is absolutely beautiful. You are really good at making interesting, and pleasing to look at, architectural designs. The face above the throne is my favorite, but all of it is incredible. Thank you for sharing!
Looking for a reasonable price for Fangman and maybe king He-man and Strobo.

And as promised.... WIP-pictures:
With no more than an idea, some reference-pictures and a handfull of bricks
I began to crate my own hybrid version of the iconic castle...
I started with 'the face of Grayskull', to figure out how large the bricks would allow me to build.
And then I decided to have rounded towers rather than using the vintage castle-corner elements...
The 'face' was adjusted through out the building process...
And I had to reinforce the base with the double amount of pillars on the final version:

you need to get your hands on a BK battlecat and get a little Lego He-Man going.
"everyone always talks about how big and scary snakemen are... well calligars eat people too!"
THAT is awsome I love LEGO. Do you have any pics of some He Man Mini FIGS???
COOL
What was the cost ?
MOTU mini-figs are in the works, but it's timeconsuming and not really that cheap
(some sellers have a minimum-order limit on parts and then there are the shippingcosts...)
There was a lot of trial and error through out the project and I did order some bricks I didn't use + the shippingcosts and occasionally paypal/handeling fee...
But if one would try to build a Castle Grayskull the way I did it (without the errors) one would have to spend approx $1.000 (stretched over 4 months)
Only a dedicated nerd or a mad-man would throw himself in a project like this, and from where I'm sitting, there is a fine line between those two![]()

This have got to be one of the most IMPRESSIVE projects I have seen!
I dont even want to think all the invested time and patience involved in this (which of course paid off!!)
LOVE IT!
Congratulations, you should feel very proud of this![]()

That is AMAZING! If I could....I would build one to MOTUC scale. IF.....

Well, I'm only a padawan compared to other builders I know, but I am proud of my work and the challenges did evolve my LEGO-skills
That would have been an epic challenge - and very expensive
But forum-member FIRENICE, did have that kind of ambition in 200x-scale:

I wonder how the progress is going...
Knowing the compromise translating something to LEGO, I'm excited to know the end result.

As stated earlier it's not cheap to create minifigs for this project, and it does take a lot of waiting time for the parts to arrive,
but slowly the tetris-like puzzle gets together and I can now present the first minifigs:
Eldor & He-Ro

This thing is AMAZING! I LOVE IT!
Very impressed with your Lego skills! How far do you plan to take it? You've expanded quite a bit. Awesome, simply awesome!
Great work, please keep it coming!
Also, I'm sure there are plenty of Org members that would help you out if there are certain Lego parts you need. Just ask!

Who is are you making? I see Trapjaw, He-Ro, and Eldor. They look pretty sweet. You said you ordered parts for them or did you order them? Were was they ordered from?
What was will be again.........
Glad you like it
As far the bricks and my wallet lets me![]()
It will, it will, but the planning, shippingtime and the economic priorities slows down the process alot...
I won't reveal which characters I'm making, but I do have approx 30 figures in the "WIP-room" right now
LEGO-minifigs are the ultimate build-a-figures, so I order the parts I need, put them together and add a bit of customizing if needed (but the less I have to customize the better)
And I have to point out that I'll never come close to the talent and sculping skills of this guy:

So I'll do it my way![]()

Ninjor
The one major rule I have, is to make it as easy as possible. So if I can do it...
And though I have the next minifig ready, I have to spread out the figures,
giving myself a chance to make them without rushing the process (and receiving the parts),
but I do have a small hint for the next minifig: a member of the Horde...

This is VERY IMPRESSIVE!! I LOVE the face, the draw-bridge, the magic window, those support pillars (WOW), the back!! All very detailed and authentic to the original!! I've seen a lot of Lego paint ups that look like MOTU (are they yours?) on eBay!! I've done a LOT of stop-motion with Legos (My wife got me the Spielberg Lego Movie makers set with Camera, although I use a different camera now!) and have come up with my own stuff, too (not MOTU, though), but nothing anywhere near that BIG!!
AWESOME!![]()

Xbox Gamer tag: Darkbanshe
Wish list: New Adventures toys loose or carded toys, SDCC color change orko, Masters of the universe magazines, grayskull stands, weapons pack one, 200x battle cat and panthor, vintage castle grayskull, snake moutain, and vintage vehicles.
A friend and I were just saying the other day how cool one of these would be.
Great minds think alike haha.
Fantastic. I think if anything can be thought of it can be made into a Lego set. haha.
Shadow Weaver and Ninjor look graet!!!
Thanks Papa
The ebay-stuff isn't mine, but I do draw some inspiration from it (and various other sources)
As for my 'obsession' to do ~minifig-scale projects, my view on it is: why not?
Thanks Cringalicious.
I hope your'e still in one piece.
James May did build a LEGO-house of LEGO-bricks (with a little help), so it's possible to think it, and the build it![]()
No love for Eldor or He-Ro?!
Just kidding- I try to "Keep It Simple (stupid)" and often the simple appoach has the biggest effect.
Well, the past week has gone by really fast and I had to do some adjustment to my LEGO-budget,
but that doesn't mean I dont' have a backup-figure...
So, I give you:
Nor-ris

Bravo, excellent stuff.

hmm... I guess the odd-factor of Nor-ris wasn't as potent as i thought...
Well, I have to take a break, but I'll try to do a figure every 2. week
So for now I present to you: Stratos

What did you use for the wings? Is that an actual part or did you glue some feather pieces to some clips?
