Should Mattel make SONGSTER into an action figure?

In 1987, the character Songster was created to appear in the Masters of the Universe Power Tour. ToyGuru recently said that they can make a SONGSTER action figure. So... would you guys want to see an action figure of this brave Eternian musician???

Yes, but with a serious makeover.

And again, I like the idea of him being Kevin, or at the very least a descendant of Kevin.

I'd take him either way, but I voted for the cheesy original look. Make it so, Mattel!!! Characters like Songster are one of the coolest aspects of the scope of MOTUC. I would love to see the 4HM treatment on him, too.

He's not from FILMation, and could actually be made right now if Mattel decided to make him.

Why does it have to be one or the other? Why isn't there a "Yes, any way we can get him," choice? I want him, and would love the original look, but wouldn't mind a 4H makeover. As long as we get him. So, although I'm the one who brought Songster up in the original thread, and WTFWTK, I can't vote in this.

Up until a few days ago I had never heard of him, but now I want him BADLY!!

If for no other reason than to annoy all the people that think Mo-Larr is a GOOD Idea!

I voted Yes - but only if he looks like he did on the Power Tour!

Even though the Power Tour came out after I had grown out of the original toyline(I had never even heard of it until someone posted about it here), I love any character that reminds people MOTU isn't just Conan with spaceships. I love that there are characters that just scream "levity".

Slightly off topic, but does anyone know WHO played Songster? I can't find anything on IMDB and I want to do some research.

I can't find any info on him though. The name is too generic. There are three results for him on IMDB, but I don't know if he's any of the three!

Sure. Put him in a two-pack with Gwildor and charge like $30. Gwildor found himself a master song maker. I voted for a 4H revision because I'd expect that to happen anyway.

As I stated in another thread, it befuddles me, as to how people complain about getting too much 200X, NA and/or POP in the line, but want all these various weirded out characters, the likes of Mo-Larr, Songster, etc, in the line.

But I don't think it's the anti-200x/POP/NA people who are requesting Songster. Those who complain about 200x/POP/NA in MOTUC are likely going to be against Songster's inclusion as well.
