Should Mattel make SONGSTER into an action figure?

I voted don't care. I would in all honesty probably pass on any version of this character, but if there is an audience for this sort of thing why not. Still outside of a handful of people on this board I doubt anyone knows who the character is.

I disagree, done nicely, like Bow, this character could be a welcomed addition to the MOTUC universe.

If they turned him into a fantasy bard/skald more like Vikor and less like an 80s nightmare- than for sure. Otherwise they can save Songster for a Gem and Holograms crossover in 2020.

I could see 4H doing something nicely with this character. I like all the characters, even the ones I like less or dislike! Either way, I begin to appreciate and buy them. I like seeing what the MOTUC will do with characters. Vikor and Bow are fantastic! Makes me want to see more, new ones.

I could see his guitar as an battle axe, drumsticks as daggers and a sonic blaster-laser pistol.

He could be Songster — be the Master of Music and Song.

Wow. There is no gun large enough that could be pointed at my head that would make me buy THE SONGSTER. Not even if he included a crisp, new 20 dollar bill.

That said, I'm not against him seeing plastic. I can simply skip him.

before I vote, I'm just going to say that I cant vote fair, as the choices are stacked wrong.

I just want to vote "YES". I dont care if they do a make over or power tour, or what. Whatever they do obviously they are going to "Classicize" him, as it should be, and I trust the 4H.

I dont want to vote "I dont care" because I dont want to imply that I dont want songster or dont care about him.

He is one of my biggest wants. After Shadow Weaver (YES!) Fearless Photog (YESYES) he is my 3rd most wanted of all. Seriously.

So I'm voting "Power Tour" because I want his "Classicized" version to be based on his "Classic" look, of course.

YES! I'm not sure how much redesign I'd want cause I think the 'FLASHY' & 'GAUDY' look works for one of my "Character Concepts" where I actually prefer Songster to be a VILLAIN! I mean a Minstrel who can control people's actions with his ability to modulate his vocal chords and along with his 'enchanted lute', sounds slightly wicked and since we really don't have 'handsome' villains in the canon, I think this twist on him would make him slightly more acceptable?

I voted Yes...but if he had a makeover. I like the idea of a minstrel in MOTUC. Maybe his music could be a power of his...so when he plays he can change the disposition of his foes...(and Hordak could capture him and make him use his power on He-Man and make him evil.)

I would honestly say there are so many more MOTU, POP, NA, 200X, Filmation, mini-comic or even Robot Chicken spoofs I would rather see then a character from a live stage show I never saw as a kid.

Very true! As much as I wouldn't mind him, he can definitely be on that 'to do list' rather than 'do now'... I can wait for him but I wouldn't turn him away if he does come... I think the idea I've drummed up for him would make him slightly interesting...
