What I ment was that the battle ram is not the sub for next year . Were getting another

First of all, the first vehicle is next year.

Secondly, it will not be part of the sub.

Matty know's how we're all bustin' after seeing that prototytpe and we can all rest assured we'll be rolling our own BR's down the carpet within a year. I'm proposing a variant possibilty now; I originally posted this message in the "Palace Guard" thread, but it's just as relevant here-

When watching the "Rainbow Warrior" episode, it was cool how all the Palace Guards came through rolling deep in all Sky Sleds. It would be awesome if when that Battle Ram is released, they make a couple thousand extra Sky-Sleds (without the wheeled backpiece). They wouldn't even need packaging, just put them in baggies (or mailers) and sell them for $15. I'd buy 4 myself and I'm sure other collectors would jump all over that as well! Am I right?

If so, let's post loud and make it a reality!

It would be cool if we could see a second vehicle sculpted by the 4 Horsemen (an evil one with a totally different look than the Battle Ram... say, Spydor, the Landshark or the Fright Fighter, for instance). That might be the definite proof we need to go all the way for the 4 Horsemen.

My vote is for the Collector.

Given the 4H were acting on their own initiative, the Collector should be a possibility. Two birds one stone: the 4H can show Matty how awesome it would be to acquire those FILMation rights!

I for one would NOT buy any Non-4H designed MOTUC items.

This line is -IMO- a 4H line. and if Mattel decide to cheap out, then I decide to jump!

I don't think anyone was suggesting that the 4H wouldn't do them.

Thinking about it though, why would the 4H make a pitch for a new sku that Mattel already decided to do? Did Mattel make the decision without mentioning it to the 4H?

Hi,

the Battle Ram shown by the FH at SDCC 2010 had wheels that look like plastic. I love the design very much but I would prefer the wheels to be made of a soft material like rubber. Stiff platic in wheels always looks cheap and makes funny noises.

I am glad this thread got bumped. It has been a while since I looked at the Battle Ram. I still can't believe how good it looks

Unfortunately, unless the Battle Ram is classed as a mid sized vehicle, we won't be getting it for a while

nah, I think 2 vehicles would be pushing it. I think windraider came first because it was the first vehicle in the vintage line and it is relatively small compaired to that awesome Classics version of the Battle Ram that the 4H did.

If they do do a Battle Ram, I almost assume they will release the Sled and the Ram shooter part seperately. If they do it together, that thing is going to be massively expensive. It's far bigger than I think people realize.

I'm excited for it, and other than a Roton perhpas, I want this thing next.

Seconded. I love that prototype, it's a thing of beauty. I really hope this is the next vehicle on deck. I know I'd buy one whole one, but I'd also like to buy a few of the sky sleds on their own.

I would expect to see the Battle Ram next year, depending on how well the Wind Raider does, of course.

It would be an ideal candidate for a surprise reveal at NYTF, IMO. We already know the June monthly, variant and 30th anniversary figure, leaving just July, August, the third quarter variant and beast and the fourth 30th figure to reveal then (unless they skip into September too). It'd be a nice addition.
