I wouldn't mind if they tried their hand at a filmation heman just for the nostalgia

A Filmation Prince Adam who transforms into some He-Man (preferably Filmation He-Man) with a wardrobe change would be splendid. Not sure if this would be possible, but if Queen Marlena and Captain Glenn can exist, so can Adam and He-Man! (The Adam we have now has a rather creepy face anyway, so they can help us kill two birds with one stone there, although I understand that that might not be maximizing profit potential with Adam/He-Man especially.)

How about a hair style that is not terrible. Show his ears. Hell, just do the 2002 hair style.
Can someone PM me the US number for Matty? I want to talk to someone who might has a clue of what is going on.

I want new hips, so he can sit on Battle Cat and a ball-jointed wrist so he can hold aloft the sword properly.

Beyond that, anything else would be gravy.

I think Classics He-Man is damn near perfect!

Hrm...well, it's been dismissed in the past, but if there is a minor interest in Mattel to at least redo He-Man at one point...then I don't see why it can't be a 200X version. New harness, new peice to go around the waste (the pouch thing), new forearms, and then toss in a new repaint of the 200X sword (perhaps in animated colors with a brown handle) and classicized smaller versions of the 200X axe and shield. I think that's a similar amount of changes when compared to She-Ra 2.0.

Like Big Country said, though: I'm pretty dang happy with He-Man, so it's not amazingly important to me that we get a 2.0 version.

Maybe the "sword aloft" hand...Alcala head (although that'd be better for Oo-Lar)...sheath for a knife on his boot (again, Oo-Lar)...new expression....? I don't know. Like others, I think the first version is great. I'd rather get variant versions than a 2.0. -Jungle Attack? Flying Fists? Slime Pit? Ice Armor? Snake Armor? Samurai/Legacy Stone? Shoot, I'd like Martial Arts HM!
Not to sound like a creepy cheerleader for Uki, but it's nice to know there is at least one person on this forum who is extremely positive & friendly all the time. I don't think I could be that nice even if you paid me. If we ever give out awards for "forum member of the month", Uki gets my vote. -Mr. Shokoti

I think the body is fine, but I'd love to see a new head with either the vintage figure's hairstyle or the early long minicomic hairstyle.

I'd love a re-release with a original toy replica head, Tri-Klops small wrist cuffs, brighter colored boots and loin cloth and packed with an extra filmation head and filmation inspired armor Oh, and a truly filmation accurate filmation power sword!

I've been thinking that the perfect 30th anniversary SDCC exclusive would be a delux He-Man set that has mix and match heads/hair, harness and weapons so you can turn him into Alcala He-Man, Filmation He-Man, 200x He-Man, maybe original prototype He-Man, etc.

And a harness with a scabbard for the sword.
I agree completely with this, but a bit differently.

I'd like to see, as long as we're talking about better matches for power swords, a She Ra Sword that looks like He-Man's sword, but with a gem. That's what I want.

Not a smaller non gem She-Ra sword for He-Man. But we're on the same page at least.

Otherwise, yeah I suppose "Filmation" stuff is good. But my Tru HE-Man feels like a "Filmation" version. But a new head is good. Not Vintage Grimace, not Prince Adam totally cheesy (which I love) but a kind of Filmation Smirk/Smile with slighty differnt hair I suppose.

Being able to hold the sword aloft straigth up would be great. I wager you'd need a new hand, and prolly a new shoulder joint or something. So I guess I'm not that big into it.

I think I have everything I need to make 200x He-Man, but then I dont want/need one. But a he-man 2.o could have the (unneccesary) pouch loincloth to make 2oox purists happy.

All together I think the best idea with a 2.o He-Man is a couple of actually unrelated things that you could use to make a "perfect" He-Man, much as Bubble Power She-Ra is great as "parts" to make one or another She-Ra.

Many (most?) people are getting Bubble Power She-Ra to "make" their perfect She-Ra.

    So do that with He-Man.

    • 1982 original figure head
    • Belt that matches his bracers and no red bubbles
    • Alternate Sword aloft hands
    • Scabbard

Save the other things for the 200X He-Man or Filmation He-Man.

    New weapons!
The Ax needs the rills on the handle and some rivets like the vintage one has.
    The shield needs the umbo!
A nice ironlike paint like Vikors weapons would be cool!

Besides that a new more vintage looking head would be awesome!
Belt and bracers also more metallic gold/bronze collored?

Surely the point of a "He-Man 2.0" would be to do something LIKE Filmation He-Man - something very close to the original that they probably couldn't do as a "proper" variant.

    -Vintage figure headsculpt.

And, yes, being able to assume a transformation pose

Do I have to say better than this ???????

You just described the re-release. It came out with no pink eye and corrected shoulders.

As for 2.0, I like the idea of it being 200X He-man with a new harness and loincloth. Plus a new head sculpt.

    OOPS!

I don't think I ever compared the release to the original. I guess I wasn't even sure (or is it remember) they corrected the shoul-dars

I did kind of compare TRU he-man to original he-man and though that he was smaller.

Ditto! Before we get a 200x He-man lets get a filmation accurate He-man first! I am eally bored with all the he-man varians sporting the same head sculpts and hairdos. Lame. I know the line shares parts but the least they could do would be to do a brand new head for He-man
