UPDATED Trademarks List: New, Unused And/Or Notable

Strong-Or was trademarked, so that is probably the name they are going with for Strong Arm.

According to the trademarks, I think the next 3 Filmation figures will be Strong-or, Dylamug and Madam Razz
The next NA should be Hydron, Tuskador or Darius
The next playset, Snake Mountain

So the way the list works is that under each faction i listed all the trademarks exist for that faction, then underneath the ones that are needed, and finally, if applicable, characters from each faction that are highly likely of having characters made based on the Fan Choice Poll we had last year http://www.he-man.org/news_article.php?id=2252 . If a character doesn't appear in any one of these categories, then until further information providing us with concrete evidence or a trademark, they will remain off of it.

Note: I pulled out Wind Raider Pilot and Songster, due to the public outcry for non concept characters to be put on the back burner, but it should be noted that Songster had is trademark due to the fact that he was in the running for the Fan Choice award

This list should hopefully make things a little easier to understand in the future

Yep. Plus the Goods & Services description is for Toy Action Figures, not Dolls.

The name Strongarm is protected by the original copyright that Filmation issued on that episode. Legally, Mattel cannot give him another name as that would violate the original copyright. Trademarks may not violate copyrights or vice versa. They will likely release Strongarm with that name, but not try and trademark that name as the name is already protected by the original Filmation copyright associated with that character's likeness and all other works of art rather 2D or 3D derived from such likenesses. Much like they did with Adora and Shadow Weaver. Strong-Or is likely trademarked for some other use.

Basically, with the Filmation characters, the trademark rules change because copyright is now also involved.

I wonder if it's a joke? I mean Train-Or from Robot Chicken was up for the vote on CG's box. No clue really. Honestly, I'm not a fan of the name, if it's for a real character, but I'll just change it in my canon. I'll say this if it's a teenager, I could have some fun.

You know what? Now that I'm looking through the database again, DARE was filed in October as well around the same time, so it probably is Skeletor's son.

That's what I have been assuming - female. I really didn't think it was a take on "teen" like "teenager" or "boy" in like Superboy. It's definitely a female sounding name.

I think many of us are assuming the name is for a boy because of the whole "infant son" thing in Battleground Evil-Lyn's bio. But I suppose Skeleteen could be a totally separate character and a girl.
