Well that was a total mess. Here's a screenshot of 11:18 (18 minutes after it went on sale my time) showing Safari (the browser that didn't work so well in the past) in front with my successfully completed order. In the back you can see Firefox (one of the recommended browsers) and you can see that, despite my refreshing in case Safari crapped out on me, it STILL has "Coming Soon" on it. It never flipped over. I stopped refreshing after my order went through so I didn't gum up the works. So who knows how long it continued. The weird thing is EVENTUALLY (after 10 minutes of WSOD) Firefox refreshed just fine... it just wouldn't flip over.

This must have been one of THE worst mattycollector experience since back in early 2009. Seems like the system got even worse to me, especially with that extended countdown on the wsod.

On laptop I didn't get through at all for like 8mins.
On desktop I got through many times, but after adding 2 in cart, I got kicked back to the main ordering page after a long wsod. Happened a few times. Then I had 4 in cart a couple of times as well that I needed to adjust again to 2. Back to main screen... finally it went a bit smoother, but then I got stuck on the processing billing screen and in the end i got a nasty error and the order failed to go through...

In the meantime the laptop went through and went a lot smoother. I was able to order 2x Orko & Adam finally after +- 12 minutes on laptop.

My cart has been charged and I received the order confirmation e-mail as well. Shipping was still $8.70 for the 2x figures.

I'm glad I was able to get the 2 Orko's & Adam's after the frustrating wsod battle. Victory!

EDIT: Apparently the mattycollector page loads normal again and now it should be a breeze to order! everything is still available in stock.

Finally, longest I've been in the WSOD. Got my order completely through at around 1120CST. It was still terrible.

Anybody have any idea what this means:

    deadlock modifying the same SM: StateManager:OID{class:com.digitalriver.payment.Pa ymentServiceImpl;typecode:com.digitalriver.payment .adapter.cpg.CreditCardAdapter[paymentServiceID=CreditCard]}

I've put in the credit card security number and it sits there thinking for ages until it brings be back to the order submit screen with this at the top.

I was on refresh for ten minutes then finally got through but hit the complete order button a bit to quickly inmy rush to get it through before being stuck on refresh again and it seemed to have the wrong card details so I then had to go through it all again to order an Orko with the correct card details. Now im not sure if I have one or two Orkos on the way. Cant belive its taking over 20 minutes for some people! Such a terrible website.

    I wanted 4 Orkos

I think I just ended up with 8.

I saw a ton of new error messages today though...

    deadlock modifying the same SM:
    StateManager:OID{class:com.digitalriver.payment.Pa ymentServiceImpl;typecode:com.digitalriver.payment .adapter.cpg.CreditCardAdapter[paymentServiceID=CreditCard]}

    (I got this one twice)

    Then I got the

We"re sorry but an error occurred while submitting your order. Please try again.

So I kept refreshing and then got 2 confirmation emails. I'm debating whether this is worth the headache of dealing with DR customer service...

clicked process order, then got a server issue, but the order still went through

3 computers, safari, IE and firefox and it just proves the refresh screen doesn't keep you a place in line. Completed the order on safari and firefox with WSOD before IE ever got off the first refresh screen.

My IE tab just kept refreshing every 5 seconds even after I ordered mine. Horrendous! Absolutely horrendous. My FireFox tab is still trying to get on.

Did the same thing to me once. I had to re-enter my security code and it went through the second time.

The main oddity I seem to be having is that I got one in my cart0, logged in, and when the 'review' page comes up to review and order if I don't hit anything quick enough it goes back into the refreshing queue. I don't have enough time to change my address from my previous one becasue it goes back into refresh so quickly. I've gotten to that page 4 times so far and I can't act fast enough.

    Anyone else have that problem?

This has been nothing but a nightmare.

I loaded the site up about 5 minutes before sale, b/c I know that the WSOD comes early.

Then after 15 minutes of WSOD. I decide to just open another browser and refresh (like your not suppose to) The site pops up, but then even at 11:20 still shows "coming soon" for Orko and Mo-Larr.

Finally get them to show add to cart, and then it fails on my credit card b/c it defaulted to my other address, not the one I use every month!

Now I'm stuck yet again waiting to get through the order submit button.

These are the type of frustrations that make me just want to pack it up and forget this line even exists.

Seriously, who makes Orko a con exclusive!

I got 1 Orko and 1 Molar but it took about 35 mins. I thought i was totally screwed. Either way its still ridiculous to have to stare at the WSOD for that long.

I'm still waiting for it to process my order...this is pathetic. I've never had a problem with matty before today...been processing my order for 15 minutes and I'm getting the same error as you Ash.

    VICTORY IS MINE! LOL

I was on WSOD from 11:50AM until 12:28PM

Finally got through at work - experienced the WSOD a couple of times during checkout for a few seconds but otherwise it worked out well.

Overall, however....Mattel needs to ramp up their servers. Load balance, cluster and bump up their network throughput. I swear the Matty server is on dial-up

I got this error. I just clicked on the "Check Out Now" button at the top of the screen and basically restarted that part. It all worked out. I don't know what the error means, though!
