Mer-Men army builders discussion

Now that we've seen how the Royal Guards turned out, would anyone else like to see Mer-Men in the line? They've had many incarnations over the years, with a lot of very different individual looks. (pics below)

If they ever made them, they have a lot to choose from. Personally I like the individual heads/armor like in the DC comics. I also like the armor from MVC (which looks like it would be an easy carnivus armor re-use). I don't like the filmation version, but the head could make a good individual head if they were able to make it.

I like the MYP and mini-comics ones the best (the red ones look SCARY! ).

The one in the first picture looks like a Snork!

I really hope they make Shezar! She's a female Mer-Man-like villainess from the Brazillian He-Man comics.

Thanks for posting that. Is she supposed to be from Mer-Man's race? If so, she's a tad more attractive than I thought their females would be.

I like the MYP ones too, they're really elaborate.

I have NO idea! I saw the pictures macbee posted and asked her name and if she was evil and he told me: Shezar and she's evil.

I personally think she's awesome, would make a great bride for Mer-Man, she's gorgeous, gives Mermista and Octavia a run for their money and Shezar is close to She-Ra!

EDIT: They could be like Twi'lek's from Star Wars. The males are usually hideous and the females are gorgeous:

That comic is so cool, I had never seen that "Mer-Woman" before. Thanks for sharing. Is that blond woman supposed to be Teela. I can read it, but it doesn't explain anything.

The MVC version is definitely the best. The great thing is that they're actually fairly simple and would need few 'simplifications' to make them fit in to MOTUC. Love 'em and I would totally buy them. At least a few.

I'd also dig the 'good guy' from the MVC Icons of Evil: Mer-Man comic. Can't remember his name. But that's neither here nor there.

Mer-Folk Army Builders have been on my must-have list since they announced 2-Packs. I want them, Caligars, Speleans, and Qadians as Army Builders.

Mer-folk army builders would be pretty awesome. While red bodied would be cool, I imagine in a two-pack one would be much more green and one would be much more blue in skin color, and they'd have the same color armor. As for heads, something that looks like it has a tentacled beard would be awesome.

Visually, she reminds me Marvel's Namora character. That's a very good thing. I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

I want the helmeted minion from the 1st image in the red color. That could be awesome as new submarine creatures.

For those who cant wait for Mer-Men army builders, the new DC VS MOTU recoloured Mer-Man would look kinda cool as an army builder...especially with a different head...

my vote would be for four totally different designs...spanning mini comics - myp /icons of evil.
that way each is different, totally unique...

it would/could be sort of like the cobra-La thing from G.I.Joe

The upcoming gold armor in the second weapons pak, the blue Mer-Man, and the two different heads allow for the possibility of having at least 4 Mer-Man variants for current army building.

I would guess that he's not coming with two heads. But, the original release does, and the 2nd head is ideal for army building. I mixed/matched one before.

I wasn't referring to the DCUC version having two heads, but the regular release along with a different head, body armor, and skin color makes for some decent variants.

I actually thought about getting the DC VS. pack and putting the gold armor on him for a henchman. I do wish the DC VS. had two heads in it though. Sure you could use the extra Mer-man head but then he'll have a greenish head and a bluish body.
