Bare chested Whiplash (new chest sculpt on Whiplash under armor!)

Got my Whiplash's in today (freakin awesome figure BTW!) and commenced to tear him apart. I was surprised to see totally new sculpted chest underneath his armor. Looks really cool!
Then I got to wondering, other than Buzz-Off & maybe Clawful, who else could use this scaley chest sculpt? Thoughts?

In the Snakemen, Snake Face and (maybe) Sssqueeze are the only ones I can see reusing this chest piece (with new armors and more unique tooled pieces).

Kobra Khan, Rattlor and Tung Lashor have a totally different chest. Look at the vintage and 200X figures, and you'll notice.

This scaled torso could also be used again for Caligar warriors (army builders) or for Ceratus.

I could see them using this body with glued on "rubber chest" like the 200X ladies and how Whiplash has the chest and tail thing. The plug on tail style would certainly work for Rattlor.

Yes, I'm pretty sure Rattlor's BACK will have the two "plugs" system we got for Whiplash. Rattlor's TORSO (belly), anyway, needs a different sculpt. His scales are totally different than Whiplash's...

Well, that's a clever observation! Slush Head has an active trademark and he's also the most popular NA character (judging from past polls on the org) so it does seem that we'll get him before too long. That chest will definitely work for him!

Also love the idea of Snake Face. I don't care for the snakemen that much, but Snake Face is perhaps the most interesting one. I almost hate that freezing people is his character's power; I would like the snakemen better if they had a snake girl!

In NA, other than Slush Head, there's another character that will be able to use that very lizard chest : Lizorr !!!

That was so obvious that I didn't think about him first...

But yeah... Lizorr is DEFINITELY a candidate for a reuse of that chest (plus a newly tooled armor, of course)...

No. Karatti has smooth skin. No scales on this guy...

Yes, absolutely ! Baddhra (the purple guy who "merges" with Tuvar to become Two Bad) has ALSO a scaly chest !

Hum... no. Leech is more "plated" than scaly, if you look carefully. He'll need a new torso.


Maybe (just MAYBE) that lizard chest might also be used for Saurod (who also has a scaly skin), BUT it would need a heavy - and newly tooled - armor over it !

how about the back armor, did you take it off as well?

i don't understand why they didn't give Whiplash a hard 2-piece armor like they gave Battle Armor He-Man... this way they still could have used the "two peg" system on the back half of the armor, to attach the tail.

an opportunity wasted, imo.
but, seeing that Whiplash is an almost perfect figure, i'm not really complaining.

Wow, LOT of good points! And here I thought it would just be perfect for Clawful! Was thinking about this when I got 'em, though I was sure someone would pull it off eventually to prove the theory. They don't make a whole new chest for nothing!
