How Many Versions of the Sorceress Will You Buy in the MOTUC?

There are a handful of versions of the Sorceress. Two have the greatest likelihood of getting made: Classic 80's/Style Guide, and MYP/200X. Besides those, she had a memorable variant appearance in New Adventures and a host of repaint possibilities based on looks she rocked in the mini-comics.

So, the question is: Looking ahead at 2011 and beyond, how many versions of the Sorceress would you plunk out $20 for?

It's a safe bet that the main two versions will sell extremely well. Would you pick up an NA variant or the repaint colors? Or, is this character not interesting enough to you to buy the varying styles?

I'm curious because there have been many figures released for this line between it's inception and March 2011, but there hasn't been a Sorceress released. Yet, she is one of a few characters that could be released over and over again in variants for those fans who would buy each one, like He-Man and Skeletor.

Well considering that I bought the sub. I will already be buying one of her. I do plan on getting an extra that is if she is worth getting an extra. I seriously doubt we'll see any other version of her unless they go with the 200X version before they do the original version/Filmation style. I want the original version first. Her original design has something mythical about her. The 200X took too much from Egyptian style. While I do like it. I want the classic first. Anything else is second. Of course unless they make Veena before a 200X version of the Sorceress. Which would be better since Grayskull needs his wife.

Well I want:

1) 80s/style guide version

2) 200X version with an alternate 'unmasked' head like she had in the flashback

2A) possibly a venom infected version, that would be kinda cool

3) NA comic version

4) Pink mini comic costume version

5) silver\white mini comic costume version (mixing that with either a NA version or Marlena you could come close to a Movieverse Sorceress version)

My ultimate goal is to collect all MOTUC figures, but even if for some reason I find myself unable to do so...I'd start selling off my organs for any and all incarnations of the Sorceress, LOL! This includes an MYP-inspired (or otherwise) Teela-Na that someone suggested in the Prahvus thread.

80's and 200x versions will both end up in my collection for sure. Beyond that? I'd have to think about it. We really need a sorceress in 2011 though.

Either version as long as she's done well. The staction is nice, but I love poseability. And the vintage figure is kinda meh.

I'm really excited for the Sorceress in MOTUC. I think she's the one I want the most repaints of.

There's the obvious old school Orange, Blue, and White. That one HAS to be first, just like we got classic colors Evil-Lyn first.

Then there's the more egyptian 200x Sorceress. While I didn't care for her personality in 200x, I liked the design and colors.

Then there's the awesome mini comic repaint possibilities. Both the white and the pink repaints from the mini comics would be awesome!

I'd say at least 3 Sorceress for me.

Who am I kidding - I cave in and bought Evil-Lyn, so I'm propably going to get all the various sorceress' characters even if they share the same outfits.

1) classic toy / Filmation / later mini-comic version

2) NA mini-comic version

3) MYP version (but honestly, I could do without her because it's likely we will get a Veena figure, and she could have MYP Sorceress characteristics.... But there are probably a lot of people who want MYP Sorceress and that is reason enough for me to want her made)

4) pink or white mini-comic sorceress (pink appeared in vintage motu mini comics and in the first pop mini comic)

5) Teela'Na (I want a Filmation inspired figure)

In 500+ years, there's bound to be that many guardians, if not more.

Honestly, it depends on what the toy looks like. I've never liked the Snake Men but I think the MOTUC King Hiss is one of the best looking toys in this line. For right now, the only ones that I would want are:

* Vintage toys/Filmation Sorceress

* 1987 movie version

* NA animated version

and if you consider her a version of the Sorceress...

* Pre-Sorceress Teela-Na (Filmation)

I'd buy it if they made a Filmation-accurate version. The '80s toy was a bit absurd. I never watched NA and I didn't care too much for her character design in the 200X version. And definitely not the movie version with the crystal porcupine headpiece.

I really only want the 80's Sorceress, though I'd take a movie version too. To me, that's the quintessential version. I was never a fan of the MYP design. As a matter of fact, when I saw it for the first time it totally turned me off. That wasn't the Sorceress.
