He, Blue Smoke, even mentions in a post of his own work of how he'd like to collaborate with Pyre to add color to his drawings and how he really liked his rendition of his MOTU art. I think no harm no foul. Thinks that would be a good collaboration based on the coloring added to He-Man and Skeletor.

That's all good guys, but if you are still altering someones original work from there post, then proper edicate is to ask them before posting your revision. If he likes it ...great, but if he doesn't ...that's not so good. Sometimes issues can arise when fans alter other fans work & they do not like the representation or vision, even on something as simple as added colors. I've seen this happen before.

It's just a helpful reminder that things should be cleared with the artists before posting it to the public, that's all.

It's odd that noone bashed this guy for doing the same thing If this is the nature of this site, I'm not interested.

    Hey everyone...

Thank you JafariStew for doing your part in protecting the artists on this site.

However, As I have mentioned before, I don't have the time to color these images and I welcome all artists on this site to contribute their visions to my work. (see page 2 of this thread for the reference)

I still have not been able to view BlueSmoke's work since I can not access the links from my computer, but I have to say that I am flattered and appreciative of what he is doing.

Overall,, I have, and continue to, welcome any artist to do what BlueSmoke and TeckTrek have done.

Thank you all for your apreciation, admiration, and protectiveness of my work!

    Well said Pyre.
Glad you approve of artist participation in your works.

There is no reason to take any offense BlueSmoke (& I would say the same to TechTrek), as I was kindly recommending a professional stance on the subject, as that is how the industry is mostly run, & it's good to be aware of such aspects when manipulating others work for future endeavors & publishing or posting them.

Dragstor looks awesome! Your heavy-armor style works great with his bio-tech design.

    BlueSmoke...

Great Job. Realy. I was actually re-admiring my first couple of sketches in this thread again because of your coloring concepts. Keep it up. I especially like the color scheme on He-Man.

The only constructive feedback i have is about the pixely look of the black-and-white conversion prior to coloring the images. It seems to take away a lot from the original smoothness of the sketch.

If you are using adobe Photoshop, what I typically will do is colorize the image so that the lines are BLUE. Then, i will print it out, re-trace the image in black pen and then re-scan the image. Then, I will lighten the Blue color until it's gone so that all is left is the new black outline of the image. Let me know if this feedback helps.

I agree. I tried several techniques to fight it. (see pm) I meant to go over your shaded areas, especially the tattoos but opted out of it for fear of changing the design. Revised with Orko.

Pyre, something happened to your Dragstor, Horde Trooper, and Dragon Blast Skeletor; because they aren't showing up

    hey folks,

I tried fixing the issue with the images not showing up in this thread for some of you. i think the problem was that I had the images saved to a new Album labeled "private" I've moved them and re-linked the thread posts. Let me know if you can see them. Thanks for letting me know in the first place!

Many of you may not remember this character, but I thought the concept was so cool for a charater who lasted all of 10 seconds, lol.

This is Calix, who appeared with the Evil Horde in the 200X cartoon. He questioned Hordak, and he was destoryed for it. That's pretty much all he did

    CALIX

Glad to hear that. I changed it at least 3 different times. I love the idea of him not being so skinny. He may still be clumsy but he definitely looks intimidating.

BlueSmoke just a question. Is there a reason the color looks a little different in your He-Man and Skeletor pics? Just curious.
