I never say mow-two. hehe
As single letters "M O T U"
As a word "motu"
Use both way depending on mood / situation
Okay, weird random poll for a Friday afternoon...
How do you personally pronounce "MOTU"?
As single letters - "M O T U", or as a word, as in "Mow-Too"
I mean, I've always thought of it as single letters, and never thought of it as being anything else, until I noticed a while back that in some of Pixel Dan's figure reviews he pronounces it as a word, as in "mowtoo".
I guess it had just never crossed my mind before, and am just interested how other people say it.
Not the most exciting poll in the world I know!!

I say motu as a word, but not mowtoo. As a spanish speaker I don't feel the need of adding sounds to the written words.

I avoid the entire thing by saying "Masters of the Universe", or just "Masters". When I read "MOTU" my brain tells me "Masters of the Universe", so it never occured to me to figure out how to say it as a word of its own.
I write it but never say it so none of the options above
I always say "the Masters Of The Universe"!!
Single letters, or sometimes I just shorten it to Masters. I do that with other stuff too - for example, I never say "Neck-Uhh". I've always used N-E-C-A.
I always say Mow-Two, and occasionally 'Mow-Tuuk' for MOTUC.

I say it like one word, Motu. But I do something that perhaps not that many english-speaking folks do, I say it with an ɔ-sound ( that's fonetic script), instead of the classic English O.
It's like this: MɔTU(! a bit faster and more powerful, overall) Like... MoaTU. But the oa-sound is a little bit faster than in Boat.
And that's how you pronounce MotU, damnit!
I only write it as MOTU. If I'm speaking, I either say "Masters Of The Universe" or "He-Man".

I say "Masters of the Universe" or "He-Man".
I hate when people say MOE TWO, MOE TOCKS, MOETUUUUK, or any other variation of pronouncing the arcronym. For some weird reason it just annoys me.
I don't mind "Masters" for short, but I hate when people say acronyms as words. I guess it goes with this age of cell phone texting language which I really despise. Some people are androids and probably say "LAWL" instead of actually laughing anymore because they have a texting addiction.
It reminds me of reading some random idiot's youtube comment where every word is spelled wrong and it looks like their brain and education is nonexistant.
Sorry for the pet peeve rant there....I can't help myself and always complain about it though.
lol; i've said "moe-two" but only 1 person around me understands so i can count on 1 hand how many x's i've said it...
but n general i tend to refer 2 stuff as he-man fill-n-blank or she-ra fill-n-blank
ps. sorry, count marzo - i tend 2 post on boards n abbrev. txt-ish speak
I just call it classics...but I guess I'd call it 'motu' like any other acroynm that becomes a word.
I pronounce it as a word. moe-two.
Same for POP, I pronounce it as a word (snap crackle and POP ).
MOTUC is moe-two C, with the C being the only letter.
NA is the only one I pronounce as letters.
Fictional characters are just that. Fictional. They have no personality or free will of their own.
Writers and editors mold them to their own wants and needs.
All we as the audience and fans can do is pick and choose our favorite interpretation and ignore the rest.
I don't. I write it here, but never say it out loud. I don't know anybody who would understand it anyway...
You say Masters
I say Mow-too
Let's call the whole thing off!
Finally I've found that I belong here.
