I will say, these pictures make him look better than the first pics we've seen. The bangs in Jon-O's pictures don't bother me like I thought they would. Still, not going to get him tomorrow.

Aw man! looking at my Carnivus now he's got a giant white paint patch all behind his leg and his "toe nails" aren't even painted. So it finally happened to me. I got a bad one.

I don't think he was a king. He worked below Queen Andreenos. And if you consider the way that bees reproduce, it doesn't make sense for him to be one (I'm no bee expert, by the way, I just made some quick research to make sure my assumption was right). He was more of a general/ambassador.

I don't know if I'll be able to get him or Gygor tomorrow. Not because of money issues, but because of work. I start at 9:30, so it is kind of hard to buy a figure at 10 when I start work a half hour beforehand.

Been setting the past couple of figures into my birthday pile (my family are fashion and sports nerds, so I pretty much pick things out myself) but he looks great.

Best I've had in a while! And they did not wrap any rubber bands around his ankles to hold him in place, and I'm guessing that made a big difference. Now that I think of it, he didn't have ANY rubber bands holding him in the tray.

The shield is indeed awesome and I CANNOT wait to see how they tie him and/or his people to the Central Tower! PS--I just moved and haven't unpacked yet, hence the almost empty shelves--hopefully I'll be taking care of that this weekend!

That's weird. Mine still had three rubber bands holding him in place. These guys are always the biggest pain to get out of the package.

i got him yesterday too, he's awesome, i always wish they made some kind of cat or lion (like the other figures as a MOTU (excluding battle cat and panthor), glad they finally did.

But it's slightly obscured by the armor he's holding.

I love the figure and agree that the figure actually looks better than some of the proto pics. I think the darker colors helps this guy out a bit.

I went back and checked and mine had at least one, but for sure none of them around his ankles.

He seemed to be of high rank in Sky War. Maybe he's a general or something. I think he was a king in Filmation.
