Jukka, congratulations for your blog and good lucky! I have some Grayskull pictures from DVDs but those are so small. Most are from "Diamond Ray of Disaperarence" episode. This particular episode has shots from the bridge (not door bridge) of the Castle with all evil warriors. I am anxious to see Snake Montain backgrounds too.

Jukka, is it possible to create a scene with He-Man and Blackstar side by side using those backgrounds (like in front of Castle Grayskull or fighting against Skeletor and the Overlord) ?

Great idea Jukka, like what you got so far, Castle Greyskull being the obvious first postings . I hope to see you post some of the more exotic Eternian environs later on, they would make for great references for my fan-art without having to scour my DVDs for the right scene.

6. jungle or underground for the snakemen

Yeah the images I can make from DVD are small. Though I actually noticed, that the UK DVDs have slightly different screen-size, then the ones on US -versions.
And I'm sure someone can draw He-Man with Blackstar, and use any Filmation background for them, and have it look great!

I like to keep the screencaptures true to the DVD-resolution, because if I blow them up with PS, then they'll get slightly blurry. But have no fear! For any of the actual lasercopy or handpainted backgrounds, that I can get, I will share in medium-resolution which will look good as wallpaper!

I will go over the most known places, and some obscure ones as well. I like to get multiple views on the places, so depending how many shots there are available of obscure places, will determine if I feature it on the blog.

Well 1-3 will get their share of images, right now concentrating on Eternia so 4-5 may not get attention yet, and there are many images of Evergreen Forest and Vine Jungle so there's something for Snake Men figures. Though for any Three Towers images you'll have to turn to maybe the thread about high-res posters, because in Filmation they are nowhere to be seen.

Great blog! I have always loved the dark purple sky over grayskull and snake mountain
