While I don't think MYP Skeletor is going to be feeling the Christmas Spirit as the Filmation version did, I think that MYP Skeletor did have a soft spot for Evil-Lyn. Most bad guys aren't 100% totally evil guys who are bad just to be bad.

Yes, King Hiss was supposed to be a horrible threat, but Skeletor didn't even get to throw one punch. He was defeated too easily and never tried to take Hiss on in combat again. This hints to me that he was afraid of Hiss. I really REALLY wanted Skeletor to take Hiss down, but the MYP Skeletor didn't seem interested in this.

I think that's because the series wasn't finished at Episode 40. MYP He-Man and Skeletor seemed as if they would grow in power and experience eventually, a difference from the static power levels in Filmation (He-Man and Skeletor were the power level at the beginning of the series to the end of the series. The Sword of the Ancients merging with the Power Sword seemed like a power-up, but it was never mentioned again). MYP Hordak and King Hsss were more powerful initially, but He-Man and Skeletor might have surpassed them as the series progressed.

This is a tough question as each version of Skeletor 'brings something to the table'. I'll have to go with Filmation Skeletor on this poll as that's the one i've always liked the most but the other versions aren't far behind at all.

This one was tougher than the He-Man poll, but I ultimately had to go with Filmation Skeltor as my favorite version. Both the movie Skeletor and MYP version were great too.

I loved Frank Langella's version. MYP was really, really cool. But when I think of Skeletor, I think Filmation.

I still want that filmation head. Anyone PM me about where to buy one of those customs that are really good?

MOVIE SKELETOR. He is the absolute perfect idea of Skeletor for me, and I've been a fan of him ever since I saw him for the first time. He just drilled into my brain. I match all variations on Skeletor against that version.

For me it is definitely a toss up between Movie Skeletor and MYP. I didn't really like Skeletor in Filmation, to me he seemed like a coward. I thought the Langella Skeletor better respresented the way he was in the minicomics. He made me a fan of Skeletor. Once MYP came out my ideal Skeletor came to fruition. IMHO, MYP Skeletor is my favorite.

Definitely Filmation for #1, but I also loved all of his other versions to date. My second favorite is the MYP Skelly

MYP Skeletor was a definite threat to which he could hold his own very well in a fight against He-Man and practically any Master.

Filmation Skeletor had a great deal of charm and was the most memorable but sadly he suffered under the ultimatum that 80s cartoon villains have to be beaten and/or humiliated by the good guys and even characters of the day in every episode.

Movie Skeletor was the most ruthless and I loved Frank Langella's performance.

Jetlag Skeletor not so much as I couldn't get into NA.
