I don't want MOTUC Sy-Klone to have closed fists. Let him hold weapons like the others.

I'm sure MOTUC Sy-Klone will have open hands to hold accessories. I think Mattel have gotten that most fans want that, even to the degree of giving figures who couldn't really hold anything with their vintage hands (Grizzlor comes t mind).
As for the figure, a slight update would be pretty cool. I'd be cool with a detachable hula hoop and alternate helmet. Maybe some more detail on his body... I liked the mechanical surface to his 200X figure, which indicated his cyborg/robot origin, but of course we're not doing that anymore. I'm als curious how his former sticker will be done.
Of course, it could still be a different figure...

I believe we will see Stinkor in April or May

Stinkor would be SO easy for them to do and I'd love to get him sooner rather than later.
Moss Man needs someone to fight on my shelf, especially since Evil-Seed is not on the immediate schedule.

Rokkon, Stonedar, Nepthu, Plundor, Sea Hawk, Strong-Arm, Dactys, Horde Troopers, Storm, Geldor, Modulok, Battle Ram, Kowl, Loo-Kee, Hydron, Glimmer, Angella, Stridor, Eldor, Two Bad, Ninjor, Rio Blast, Mermista, Entrapta, Sweet Bee, Peekablue, Double Trouble, Perfuma, Flutterina, Spinnerella, Gorpo, Flogg, Crita, Madam Razz & Broom
Thanks! I created it for the Sy-Klone thread. If I do a mock-up, I always want the character at it's root to be a Vintage design, however fans could throw on modern parts if they so choose.
I was hoping that any alternate heads could be the vintage head or face only wearing the modern headgear (like Grizzlor...modern headgear but with the Vintage Grizzlor face, instead of the modern head being a totally 200X head. Or Fisto with a vintage head, but wearing his modern headband.) I recently asked Toyguru about this on Ask Matty. I waited until the anti-200X sentiment passed and things calmed down.
The thing I'm dreading the most about the April figure being Sy-Klone is if he doesn't have an alternate head with his Anwat Gar helmet. I'd still get Sy-Klone, but I greatly prefer the MYP version to the Vintage version.
Oh gosh me too. I loved Sy-Klone in the 200X line and your mock-up is great.
I agree that they would make the red ring on his back much smaller. That would actually be cool because it could be made into a boomerang-blade or something.

i so agree with the thoughts on Sy-Klone. I really hope they do like they did last year they announced Evil-Lyn early and then we didn't see the pictures until December's Toyfare.
Sy-Klone is one of my favorites. I really hope he's the April figure because I didn't expect to see him this soon in the line.
I'll be surprised if Sy-Klone is the April figure; yet he is one of the only viable heroic warriors with a shield. (Unless they decide to give a shield to Mekaneck, Man-E-Faces, or Ram-Man.....)

I originally speculated that April will be Man-E-Faces since many of his parts have already been made (Trap Jaw, Optikk) and now because the Man-E-Weapons will be included with the Weapons Rak. But I can also really (and would love to) see Mekaneck. Not because I really like Mekaneck, but because he would lead to one of my favorites - Stinkor! I really think that it can easily be either of these 2 characters since both have reusable parts and both have been mentioned in other character's bios. I would also like it to be Fisto or Rio Blast, just because I really like the characters.
Just saw the shield blurb and now think that it will either be Man-E-Faces with his Man-E-Weapons shield or Sy-Klone (unless they get really creative and give a shield to someone else that normally doesn't have one.

I was hoping for Man-E-Faces for April but the shield clue makes me less confident he will be it. I guess it depends on how they do the switching face feature and how much tooling goes into it for additional faces. I really don't expect a MOTUC Man-E-Faces to come with more than his vintage gun.
If it is not Sy-Klone or Extendar and is indeed a vintage heroic "master", my next bet would be Ram Man as I can see him coming with his axe and an additional shield. I do not see Mekaneck coming with a shield as the tooling will go into his "neck" parts.
I will be very content if it turns out to be Man-E-Faces and/or Ram Man. Sy-Klone and Mekaneck would be my next 2 preferences though. I just hope it is not a He-man variant or another 200X character that has never had a figure. I don't think it will be a 200X character since Faceless One is coming soon afterwards though.

I say it's either Man-E-Faces (with Man-E-Weapons maroon shield) or Sy-Klone.
I think we may be thrown for a loop here (and I will gladly rescind this comment if I'm wrong), but Optikk came with a shield, and didn't originally. I don't know if we'll see Sy-Klone or not. Something still tells me we may not see him, but I have, like everyone, been shocked before.

This is what its all about, folks.
i think they will give a shield to Fisto.
action features for action figures!
haha why would Fisto need a shield. Same as wearing a raincoat and taking an umbrella![]()
They might as well give a shield to Dekker. It will have been 6 months since the last 200x figure by April.
its gonna be RAM-MAN...100% guaranteed..
Hmmm, I don't think it will be Man-E-Faces with the Man-E-Weapons shield, because I think that shield will be coming with the weapons rack. The impression I'm under is that Heroic characters are the "Masters" in this line, so I gotta go with Sy-Klone over Extendar. I really hope its Stinkor though! (I think good and evil should both fall under the Masters label, as they did with the vintage line).
Is there a source somewhere that confirms this as a fact? If it's true, I doubt it will be Extendar, because if Mattel is still working out how to recreate Mekaneck's action feature, they won't have figured out how to recreate Extendar's either, as it is similar, but more complicated.
If the shield info is accurate, I think we have Sy-Klone to look forward to in April!
Nevermind, I found the source of the sheild clue here:

2) You said that the April 2011 figure will be a heroic warrior. Can we have one more clue please?
He will come with a shield as one accessory.

I thought of Fisto as well but it would be a great injustice to not include the vintage sword and modern/200X sword with Fisto. I can see Fisto coming with another head or headpiece with the 200x element over a shield as well.
I find shields a lot more boring than swords. Shields do work great as extra accessories for characters that only had one accessory to begin with (like Optikk or even Ram Man - if tooling costs allow of course).

Does anyone know when the Dec. issue of toyfare magazine is supposed to be out?
Looks like it will be December 8th, by my calculation. It's not techincally "December's issue", it's the issue that goes on sale in December, which would be the February 2011 issue, IIRC.
