No I wouldn't pay more because I'm not interested in such a feature.
I think this feature should replaced by a simple "glow in the dark" feature just as scare glow or Zodak. It's easy to do and the result would be good enough for me.

a glow in the dark power sword for Laser He-Man would be cool!

I wouldn't pay more. They can figure the budget out. They are cutting a lot of corners with the re-use of parts already.
No I wouldn't, the figures are already expensive.

I definitely would not pay more...I would not mind the feature but an LED is not that expensive. BTW, I had thought Orko/Adam was overpriced.
WOW!
I can't believe all of this negativity!
The light up feature is what made those two figures special and cool..
Besides, the laser light were two of the rarest figures of the line, and i would feel great to have them in motuc form, as it would be like filling a void my vintage collection has always suffered for...I was expecting this was the case of many other fans here.
What the heck, we agreed to pay $30 for yellow monkey nobody knew about, why are we complaining for the extra cost to include this cool action feature on a re-edition of vintage figures?
I really hope mattel doesn't turn its back on these figures because of this cold fan reaction![]()
Nope. I already pay over $20 (conversion rate) for loose knees and loose ankles!
That's plenty for me thanks!

No and I would not buy them at all if they did. I hate action features even as a kid I thought they were stupid.
I think 20 bucks is enough for a figure with a led. Anyway it would be really cool to see these two figures revisited by the 4HM.
No from me. These are probably my two least favourite variants in the vintage line. I've always found them to be pretty uninspired. I think the rarity factor goes a long way in keeping people interested in these.
In terms of the Classics line I would much prefer to see Snake Armour, Thunder Punch, Dragon Claws etc before these let alone pay any extra for them.
Nope. In fact I vote that they don't make these variants at all.

Two reasons Why I'm against a lighting up LP He-Man and Laser Light Skeletor.
-It would be an intrusive action feature. Aside From Roboto I believe that intrusive action features should not be in MOTUC.
-Electronic features would mean that international costumers are screwed out of product. (I'm located within the US for Hasbro, Toy Biz, NECA, SOTA, Sony, Square-Enix, and Konami but for Mattel I am an international customer. That would mean no LP He-Man or LL Skeletor for me...)
BTW a big NO! to paying extra for them when they can go with GITD for them.
FINALLY!! GLIMMER IS IN MY SHELF!! Crita is coming... Now I NEED SONGSTER! The Awesometastic Bard!
Nope because I don't want something as stupid as light up features. I hate them on Transformers, I sure as hell would hate them on a He-Man figure.
Can someone PM me the US number for Matty? I want to talk to someone who might has a clue of what is going on.
Evil will always triumph because good is dumb.
No way I would; especially for an already expensive figure.
Not a chance. If Mattel cannot figure a way to incorporate these features into the figures by the time they get to them without keeping costs down, well then...I will pass. I imagine these to be later release anyway and with a long term plan (2016-2017) in place already, I would be amazed if the line was not already paying for itself by then.
Well I hope Mattel is listening. Fans do not want the light up feature if it is going to cost extra. Hopefully they can find a way to implement the light into the figures without the extra cost, otherwise it does not look like fans would want them with a price hike.
Worlds Biggest Meteorb Fan!
I don't believe the production costs as much as their claiming. For 20 bucks a figure... even for guys like Stratos with NO bonuses... they can afford the light in one or two characters with charging extra.
I have no problem with them making the figure, but I wouldn't be interested in paying extra for it.
Nah, never cared for those variants. Looked lame, even back in the 80's. Although a Motuc version could look seriously cool, there are enough great characters I'd like to see way before laser light variants...
I agree with most of the posters.
I would NOT pay extra money for this feature.
The stated reason MOTUC figures were put at such a high price point ($20 is ridiculous for toys with that much part re-use) was that they were made in such tiny quanities. Well, since that was written, they have at the very LEAST doubled that production.
Since they're not dealing with retailers, Mattel should be able to sell these at a profit at considerably less than what they do, already. Claiming we need to pay extra is pushing it![]()
