Blizzard when the first expansion came out for World of Warcraft they admitted there often was a lack of interaction between things like the item team, the individual class teams etc. They decided it would be a good time to kind of work through that. Wow... I can't believe they really did it -- Avengers: Earth Mightiest Heroes is cancelled. And it doesn't even make sense, why cancel an awesome Avengers series to replace it with an Avengers series?
Because Jeph Loeb's ego won't allow for a series that isn't his vision.
so cancel good, successful, popular Avengers replace with different Avengers,
no Wasp, instead... Falcon?

Loeb is already on record as saying it will. Aimed at younger kids, no character development, no ongoing stories, lots of humor including breaking the 4th wall.
I can just see how Jeph Loeb pitched it.

I think he is more baffled at how something with continuity is doing so well. He also is most likely under the impression that if this show is doing so well with 'obvious flaws' the new show will do much better because it doesn't have those flaws. What he doesn't realize is continuity is what brings people back. When you have no continuity people are more likely to catch it when they catch it. Then about 3 years or so is when people complain about continuity, typically because their schedule has changed or their attention is no longer there and they need something new to get their attention.I can just see how Jeph Loeb pitched it.

I just caught up on the last 7 episodes and man it was awesome to see Spider-Man and the Vision
Seriously they are cancelling this show, which I admit I quite hated at first but has grown to be one of my fave ever superhero toons due to its great characterisations and awesome stories, helped in no small part by Christopher Yost who (along with his work on the awesome new Scarlet Spider comic) is fast becoming my favourite writer and they want to replace it with an Ultimate Spider-Man toon clone?

I don't much care if Jeph Loeb has done some good stuff in the past, rating him on recent stuff I think he should stay the hell away from our superheroes before he does irreparable damage to them
looks like they are obviously trying to capitalize off the characters in the movie, just like the Avengers Assemble comic. Falcon's included because he's in Captain America 2 and got his wings from Wakanda tech just like Cap's shield was made from and a gift to the U.S. from T'challa's father. So I'm sure Cap 2 will be the movie with the Black Panther scene at the end of the credits
YES IT IS. Vision rocked! Wish there was more Doom. Love seeing Fantastic Four in the show. I forgot what happened to the Baxter Building in that one episode. LOL @ Hawkeye challenging T'challa for the throne of Wakanda, loved their interaction
If Jeph Loeb wants to cater to toddlers or whatever, bring back Marvel Super Hero Squad and let him helm it, good grief! Is the Avengers EMH comic still ongoing?

why do you think cap2 would include black panther? they didn't get the movie shield from wakanda.
Sure about that? Vibranium comes from Wakanda buddy. I said Falcon is in the movie and that maybe they will have a Black Panther scene after the credits. BP and Cap have a looooooooooong history akin to Superman and Batman, he is very connected to Captain America comics
yes Howard Stark made it but they never said where they got the Vibranium from, all he said was
"Vibranium. It's stronger than steel and a third of the weight. It's completely vibration absorbent...That's the rarest metal on earth. What you're holding there? That's all we've got."
No mention that they made it, just that it was rare. So perhaps they got it from Wakanda as a gift
I've gotta start avoiding this thread! Disney XD hasn't aired those episodes yet in the US.
