    NEW Retro Wave He-Man

Actually it has nothing to with He-Man. It is a music genre that is inspired by 1980s sounds. It is like a musical time machine that is like going back to my childhood. Very cool.

    Have a listen:

Man, I love Synthwave. I'm glad they're bringing 80's vibe like Movie soundtrack, Synthpop and New Wave with a twist of French House.

I would rather choose this as Synthwave than Electroclash or Electro House.

Here's one of my favorite synthwave song, Good song for popping and locking.

Thanks for sharing. I think there is a slight difference between Synthwave, Electroclash, and New Wave Retro.

I prefer the pure NEW wave retro. It is more 80s sounding.

This one is even better, I can see that you're into _New Wave Retro_, I always debate on my self that 80's music are rather dull because of the production instead of the songwriting itself, like 10,000 Maniac and Norah Jones for More Than This. I mean looking back now listening to 80's music are a great nostalgic journey. I mean minus the overproducing digital sound back in the day, Those New Wave/Synthpop stuff are still relevant to this day. I wish I could spam more music but I can bring those keynote contemporary composer doing tribute to the Synth/New Wave music like Hotline Miami series, Far Cry: Blood Dragon and Rage.

I'm so glad I used the search engine before posting. This thread is great.

This genre is totally what Eternia sounds like for me.

I hate electronic music... I'm the typical narrow minded Metalhead...
Then in 2013 I discovered this music... it's weird... I don't like it but when I'm drivin' by night... everythin' changes!
Every week at the club where I work there's a Synthwave frantic nite where I play the best Synthwave songs.. all in the name of the '80s.
    Check this one:

Or this one with one sick guitar solo

Those are both awesome I especially like the Flash Arnold track.

Dude, I'd be in your club every Synthwave night playing with my MOTU figures lol

Metal is great but definitely cool to hear that you can step out into other genres. Yes, there is a lot of garbage bubblegum for the masses but there is good stuff too.

Some of the stuff is good, a lot of it started out in the world
of game OSTs if you can believe it. Like the one for
    Hotline Miami

Still, call me crazy but I enjoyed some of the Neo New Wave from around 10 years or so ago a bit more

Of course nothing beats the original bands, who still put out content today!

Also I should have mentioned in my reply, you should check out Machinae Supremacy if you haven't yet. Swedish SID Metal.
Symphonic Metal, with some great synths using the very same sound chip (SID) used in the Commodore 64

Check out this Goldenbook read along. The BGM is perfect. The later books would use the Filmation soundtrack but these early books give off that great 80's mystique.

That was great. Loved the whole concept/story. Care Bear Stare, vastly underrated.
