After having her loose for years and not broken, she crumbled in my hands this weekend as I rearranged my figures...

I have a MOC Goddess that is just fine. I also have a loose Goddess that I gave to my (then) three year old for Christmas. Needless to say, she lasted about 2.7 minutes before my toddler pulled her left leg off.

Mine is still out of the box, has fallen off the cabinet, fallen over (just like all my Motuc figures really) and is still in perfect condition. I was even brave enough recently to "test" her and made her do the splits, no damage! Go Green Goddess!

my original Goddess broke, the replacement I got is out of the package and fine, but I've NEVER tried to move her limbs at all, she stands as she was removed.

I encased her pelvis in hot glue after taking her out of the package and she is still in one piece.

Mine is doing just fine. I rarely fiddle with her and she only fell off the shelf maybe once or twice.

Mine is MOC cause I'm afraid to open her. Although now I don't know where she is (we moved and I haven't found the box yet...)

So about a third of Goddess figures that were opened are broken. I've purchased three so far and all of them broke at the neck and/or crotch.

I have around four, I think, and one of them is MOC and minty. The loose ones are all in various stages of cracking, except my first loose one- I sat down one night and fixed her with some two-stage epoxy, tools and a pot of coffee. She's on display and looking just fine!

I just bought a Goddess figure and received it today. I took her out of the package and noticed her head is super wobbly and there's a crack on the neck. Also, a piece of the crotch fell into my hand and when I moved the leg (barely) the rest of the crotch shattered.

So is it worth taking a punt on this figure then if you don't have one and if you do is it definitely worth keeping her carded?

You really have to ask yourself how much you want her. She was tops on my list to buy, and when I found one for $45 I went for it. I was wary for a long time, but I love the fact that there is a figure of her so much that I had to have one.

So far she is perfectly fine, loose, and standing pegged on a stackable stand.

There are customizers out there who have created kits to fix Green Goddesses. I found this out through groups on Facebook, so if she ever does crack I'll have a Plan B. If you really, really want her I say it's worth the risk.

Yeah, I just got another Goddess this week (I'm on my third one now) after my last one did not successfully survive a move, even though she was wrapped in bubble wrap and I never moved her legs.

Also, could you PM me who does Goddess repair kits? I know I've seen them on someone's site before but can't remember which one.
