Thanks for the tip! I just placed my order as well.

With the pegs as clogged as they are with the last 2 packs, this is probably the only way we'd be able to get these for a while.

Well, I went ahead and ordered. Considering that shipping is free with orders over $49, it's a good deal.

Of course my better judgement tells me that I should have waited until I found them in stores so I could check for ones with better paint apps, etc, but oh well.

Well I saw the link in the other thread... don't know where it went but I got my order in. With free shipping, all I had to pay extra was sales tax... which I would have had to pay anyway.

Thanks for the info! My local TRU is still full of Lex v Skellys, so I wasn't expecting to be able to get these for a while!

This really sucks if you live outside US... Are there any noble Americans that are willing to order these and then ship to European .Orgers?

    If so, PM me....

that's why i posted this news in the other link instead of making a new post. inevitably, the items sell out, but people will continue seeing the subject of this thread and checking out tru.com only to be disappointed.

And being I don't check the other thread very often, I figured there might be some like me who well you know might have wanted to know about it.

    OH CRAP.

Mer-Man is gone and Stratos will sit there...

WHAT were they thinking? If they HAD to use Stratos why didn't they make him flesh-colored with the reverse stuff? That way, if you didn't want flesh-colored Stratos, you could still buy him and switch the back=pack and wings with the standard gray Stratos.

STUPID for retail. They need to start being a bit smarter. The Aquaman/Mer-Man one is brilliant because Mer-Man is done in mini-comic colors... and Aquaman with short hair (there was a long-haired variant from that wave of DCUC, but it was more easily found) is something a lot of us DCUC collectors never found.

    Watch, go check Toywiz.com or Toycade.com and you'll see they suddenly have 100 Mer-Man/Aquaman 2-packs for $100.
A Want List of Sorts: Peekablue, Saurod, Veena, Calix, Evilseed, 200X Head Pack, Mara, Point Dread & The Talon Fighter... and all the other POP & NA characters.

I almost pulled the trigger and got them before they sold out, but I'm going to be patient and hope the 6 Lex/Skeletor 2-packs don't hold up a shipment of the wave 2 packs for more than a month or two at my local TRU.

Stratos didn't sit, he FLEW away! I think they're being pretty smart about these and that the reverse colors version was a no-brainer as that is THE Stratos for a lot of folks since that's what they had as a kid. And not everyone does customs, not that that one would be THAT hard, but then they'd still have to go back and buy another original Stratos. And this is just personal, but I've always thought the flesh colored Stratos looked gross and creepy, and I really think it would look that way BIG TIME in plastic. Has anyone done a mock-up of that? I'd be interested to at least see that.

And while Mer-Man seems to be quite a bit more popular, I actually think Stratos will be a LOT more liked by people once they get him in hand, because while it doesn't really show in the pictures, he's a very beautiful and deep charcoal instead of grey, and it looks really, really great. SO great that I considered using him as my primary Stratos, but the regular version is the one I had as a kid, plus it's how Filmation had him, so that one still wins out!

And I won't be a BIT surprised if you're right about ToyWiz & Toycade!!!

Well I missed them them but I'm not that worried. TRU will relist them eventually. You just have to be patient.

With Mattel shipping 3 waves of DC figures in the last 6 weeks or so, my wallet is empty anyways.

It's better to find/get them in the store anyway. That way you can pick through the guaranteed-to-be paint flaws, and pick out the best one available.

At least with getting them online, you've got a quick & easy **** at them (before they sold out). If they do arrive flawed, I'll just return the problem product to the store and start again.
