    Do want!
They would not be hard to make either. Just a Beastman body with new forearms, head, and chest armor to make the fur.

I love that mock up! I'd love to have that as a real figure. I could also see then giving the Kulatak new lower legs to match the more animal/less human design of them.

Nice Steph! But wouldn't that body make them too small?
They were kinda tall in the cartoon.

Yeah, but as has been said, Whiplash, Clawful, etc... aren't bigger either. Carnivus was a head taller than the others in 200X as well and now he's using the same parts to be about the same height as the others. So I bet the Kulatak will be handled the same.

True! But do you think the Kulataks fall into the same category? I see them more like beasts rather than masters.
Though they were intelligent creatures they seem more "beasty" than Carnivus or Whiplash. For some reason I see them more like intelligent Shadow Beasts ya' know.

    But I see your point.

I wouldn't mind them making a new Small-Beast body buck (with Gy-Gor being the Mid-Beast) with the Kulataks, but I doubt they will really. Maybe I'll be wrong.

I believe at one point, TG said that "if and when" they get to the Kulataks, they'd be regular figures, not in the beasts category. Maybe someone can back me up on that?

It's too bad they don't have the rights to the Zefs from the NA cartoon, because they could probably share some parts with the Kulataks. Actually the Mintarans from MYP could share the same large forearms.

I think the Kulataks should be normal sized like everyone else, but the massive beasts they rode in "To Walk with Dragons" would be good large item beasts (although they could be too big for even that).

Yeah they WERE tall, but this is MOTUC.

Making them the same size are the rest of the talking humanoids is not a deal breaker for me. I'm against the Gygor body for him- too bulky.

I would love the original legs, but that is a detail I am willing to comprise on in order to get him. Carnivus is not toon accurate- yet I don't care- he is good enough.

I'm not against them being normal size, it's just that I would prefer them being a little bit bigger.

Since they made them seem like huge beasts in MYP.

    I remember this also.

Further, I believe the idea for the 200x Kulatak toy was to be same size scale as regular figures, not a giant or beast size.

No interest in these guys. Carnivus is a great figure, but I don`t recognize him any more. Iīm sure these characters will share the same fate in my room.

Iīm fine for those fans , who want them, but for me personally not every 200x character works for me.

Great mock up Steph but think I'd prefer the Carnivus feet and maybe a longer/different loin cloth/belt, but I'd be ok with them being the same size in this line.

Yeah. The Kulataks fell into the "that style is retired" category when TG addressed them. Meaning, they were too big due to their 'hyper-anime-detailed' size in the MYP toon. Since regular figures are all the same size, they would end up the same size as well as they've arbitrarily been put into the 'standard size' group. So it's okay for Gy-Gor or Shadowbeasts to be large scale beasts, but not Kulataks.

If someone with the skills was willing, I'd like to see a mockup based on the Gygor/Shadowbeast body. I bet it could be done and it would give Mattel a reason to continue to use some of those tools.

I think the Kulataks fighting for good would be a great counterpart to the Shadowbeasts fighting for evil.

I need to quote Mikeīs image here.
Yes, new lower legs would be awesome, if Mattel or the 4HM find a way to still make the figure able to stand upright. And as a special part-sharing-bonus, those legs would be perfect for a "modern" Buzz-Off! And possibly Lord Dactys as well.
Whoīs with me there? I mean, look at the picture! Itīs a match!

I would love to see new lower legs and I agree they could be reused well.

I remember this too. Either size would be awesome but I don't see them doing a large body for him/them

I would love a few Kulatuk warriors in my collection, as well as any other Eternian races.
Not to sound like a creepy cheerleader for Uki, but it's nice to know there is at least one person on this forum who is extremely positive & friendly all the time. I don't think I could be that nice even if you paid me. If we ever give out awards for "forum member of the month", Uki gets my vote. -Mr. Shokoti

I just wanted to revive this thread because I think some Kulataks would be super cool. Especially to go with/fight against Vikor!
