MOTUC Bow Packaged images and Bio

I like the figure, but I'm not really feeling this bio. Not enough info on Bow and the "in love with Adora" thing kinda bugs me. Anyways no one said these bios where set in stone canon. I can say though next year the sub already seems far more worth my money than this year's.

After looking it up... Some of them did come like this apparently, but I would agree that it's lame to mention the heart feature and not display him with that.

*slaps forehead* Duh, can't believe I didn't catch either of those things... Then again Bow's Toyfare ad had "Etherian" mispelled as "Eterian", so it looks like more proofreading error, or they just said the hell with it, print it.

'Course, I'm already ignoring the bio, la la la, so I'll pretend I didn't see the errors.

I initially wasn't wowed by Bow at SDCC but seeing him MOC has made me like him even more. I will have to look up the Bow threads now

I'm sort of with you here...I really wish they'd chosen a more dynamic pose for the picture on the back as well...perhaps something from a minicomic...

Apparently he's bi. Bo was in love with Adora, but she wasn't having it, so he moved on to her brother. What a crazy soap opera MOTUC is!

The figure itself I like. I may buy a second one to play around with some attempt at customizing. See how he would look with a He-Man head and some diffrent armor

The more I think about "Special Friend to She-Ra" and being love with Adora, a lot of jokes enter my brain none of which would be appropriate for this website.

This is a great bio, it is another link in the chain that is the whole MOTUC story. The bio also does well in paying homage to the original DOLL as it is now an action figure. As for those of you scoffing at the "in love with Adora" part, gimme a break. If they didnt include that, you would all be scoffing about him being gay, which by the way, i wish was the case!

Adora's safety is already covered with "The Locket" that warns Sea Hawk when she's in danger.

But seriously, since the heart is actually something part of Bow's armor, maybe it only works with She-Ra.

I think the name Kyle sounds fine. It fits in well with names like Adam and Duncan. If Bow had been his real name that would just have been cheesy. The only part of the bio I didn't like was the "heart beating faster when She-Ra is in trouble..." That could have been left out, but hey, whatever.

I was thinking Reccula sounded like some word from a sci-fi franchise's made-up language. Klingon maybe? That would be one rough name to have in grade school.

So wait.... I thought Bow was always in love with She-Ra, not Adora...?? Isn't Adora alot younger than Bow is? Not really feeling this.... Not feeling the name "Kyle" either.

In my MOTU canon, Bow is really his name, and he is infatuated with She-Ra, not Adora. Thanx for asking.

Everything is vintage except for the heart...I guess Mattel is worried about men who are afraid to a man with a heart on his armor.

I wasn't worried about how vintage he looked. That's for core POP fans. I just remember Bow w/ the Stache and Heart on his chest. I was just pointing out that some of these taglines are aweful and yes Grizzlors tagline is bad as well.

I'd guess that Bow's heart beats for She-Ra because she is Adora, even though Bow doesn't know. Maybe Bow thinks it beats for Adora, when in fact it's beating for both?

I know Evil-Lyn's real name bothered a lot of people(I happened to love it), but the name Kyle stands out a little more thatn Evelyn for some reason imo. It's not awful, but it makes him sound more like a character on a soap opera rather than a nobleman. Otherwise I don't dislike the bio. While I feel Mattel should have left out Bow's secret love if they couldn't use She-Ra(are the Filmation rights that strict?), at least it's technically for the same person. It could have been for Mermista. As for his "connection" to She-Ra when she's in trouble, it may be kind of cheesy, but I still kinda like it. It reminds me of Superman & Lois Lane if Lois ran to "help" Superman when he was in trouble.

Duncan is the name of a yoyo and Adam is the oldest name in existence(if you read the bible).

And even though they don't have the rights to Filmation for the Classics canon, in our canons, on our shelves, he can be in love with who ever we want him to...

I don't see it on the actual packaging. I think it was a typo by Marvelous0ne.
