How many days did it take for them to contact you?
I sent my email on Friday, got "Read Receipt" from two different persons and still waiting.

That is exactly what I wanted to know too, my fellow Texas friend!
I had to go to Mill Creek Entertainment's FB page where a Mr. Edward Roessler asked the one question that I've been searching through pages of this thread trying to find an answer to:

"Mr. Roessler asks, "So when will the He-Man & Masters of the Universe Complete Second Season be out from the 80s? Just realized Complete 1st season came out.. Thanks!"
    March 12 at 10:36am

MCE Replies, "It'll be out sometime yet this year, for sure. Street date still TBD. We'll keep you posted."
    March 22 at 7:54pm

Mr. Roessler,"Great!..Thanks 4 the update..I'm assuming She-ra coming out too??"
    Wednesday at 11:05am (March 23)

    MCE:.......(((crickets chirping)))......"

    So...we can assume several things:
    1. When will Season Two be released? Apparently Mill Creek doesn't even know yet...
    2. Mr. Roessler is much more efficient in responding to his FB replies

Sorry to rehash, I just know that not everyone on He-Man.org is a Faceplant member. Hope this clears up any outstanding questions about Season Two.

**On a personal note: I hope Season Two is released soon. I'm sick and tired of seeing tyrants try to hock the BCI Season Two, Volume One for a sickening amount. I could understand if they made a custom art case for the DVDs, but good lord, that is just middleman robbery! IMO

P.S. Does anyone think I should be a nice girl and tell Mr.Roessler who released She-Ra or do you think he already knows and is hoping MC will release a lower $$ version???

Classic Media re-released She-Ra, not Mill Creek. They released a complete series set. I ended up returning my Mill Creek replacement set for a full refund. It was one of my worst experiences with a DVD set.

Does anyone know what BCI bonus features didn't make it onto the Mill Creek season 1 set?

I bit the bullet and bought the Mill Creek DVD release, and it's nice. I haven't watched it yet, I'm paranoid they will have the same problems as the BCI Sets had, LOL!

I bought it too because of the pretty slip cover and episode booklet.

I SO wish Mill Creek picked up She-Ra and released it like this. Classic Media COMPLETELY missed the mark with their sets. I also have never seen a single one in any retail store.

I'm sad thinking about the beautiful She-Ra covers, booklets and bonus features we're missing.

    ....MILL CREEK ENTERTAINMENT FACEBOOK UPDATE....

Here's another He-Man inquiry by a FB member:

"I'm saddened I didn't get an answer for my last question, the one about a timeframe where we can expect to see the season 2 DVDs for He-Man. I am very willing to pay money for them, so the sooner they are out the sooner you will have some more money than you currently have! (How's that for incentive?)"

(If I didn't know better, I could swear that sounds like something an org. member might say!!)

Mill Creek Entertainment responds: "Right now, we've got He-Man - The Complete Second Season slated for early Fall 2011. Should there be any other news, we'll be sure to post it on either our website or our FB page!"

    Okay, there you have it!

I'm glad MillCreek is re-releasing He-Man, the more people (kids in particular) that get a chance to see the show the better.

I also hope that MillCreek's upcoming release of season 2 drives the prices back down for BCI's Season 2 Volume 1 -- for some reason that's the only volume I failed to pick up back when the prices were reasonable.

In "Diamond Ray of Disappearance", during the scene where Skeletor invaded the palace, there was originally a part of it where a vase falls on Orko's head. While the show was under Hallmark's ownership, the portion of the masters that contained that part of the scene was lost and only exists now on old 80s era tapes of the show.

That is so sad...I thought Hallmark was all about nostalgia and warm fuzzy moments. Perhaps they also channel idiot folly? I will never forget the time I walked into a Hallmark during the winter holiday season and asked where the "Yule" card section was. Yes, I'm completely evil.

What about the final 15 episodes of season one. I thought there was 65 episodes and the first two volumes have 20 each... am I missing something?

There are 65. Mill Creek released 3 sets: one that has the entire first season, and two that have 20 episodes each.

I've watched sixteen episodes so far, and all the episodes look great. Is it just me, or is there way less pixelation in the Battle Cat transformation sequence than there was in the BCI sets?

I finally got a copy off of Amazon, and it looks like a winner. I just hope there's no problems with it. Then again, I've bought some others that Mill Creek has done and have had no problems with them.

I purchased Volume One (the first 20 episodes) from target yesterday for $4.75. I couldn't help it. I already own the whole original set released on DVD the first time around but ya just can't beat $4.75.

I managed to get a working set of season 1 off Amazon, but I did have similar issues to some people with Mill Creek's "Bravestarr" complete series. The first replacement disc (for #4) was also unplayable, so they ended up sending me a disc from the second volume set that finally worked (same episodes and illustration, just "volume 2 disc 2" on it instead of "disc 4)

Season 2 comes out September 13th. Like Season 1, the cover is pretty cool. I like that Orko has center stage. Man-E-Faces and Trap Jaw being on there is nice as well.

On Mill Creek's facebook page, they said this about the possible extras on a 30th anny DVD set:

Too early to reveal, but we're open to fan suggestions!!
I'd be surprised if they did much since they are a budget DVD company that usually just uses whatever the previous company that released the DVDs did. My guess is they will just repackage the discs from the season 1 and season 2 sets and maybe have some special packaging (but probably still have those darn paper sleeves I hate).

Nah, this is just for Season 2
30th anniversary set will probably be something else.
