Toy Fair 2011: Hopes & dreams...

I was thinking about this the other day: Toy Fair 2011 is only a couple months away (maybe less)! With February quickly approaching, we're on the cusp of seeing quite a few new items at TF! In one or more of the Q&A's today, it's mentioned that we'll be seeing about as much this year as we saw last year. Last year gave us our first glimpses of Tytus, Whiplash, Count Marzo, Gy-Gor, She-Ra and more.

What are you hoping to see this year?

Me? I'd like to see some POP/NA representation, as well as The Faceless One and maybe another 200X character/variant somewhere. I'm assuming we'll see Swiftwind as well.

I was wondering if they'd hold off on Megator and start giving us the ABC giants. They know we want Megator, so, similar to other "A-list" figures we so deeply desire, they'll wait until '12 or longer to release him.

I also kind of wonder if they'll wait on the Horde Troopers too...

Swift Wind - I really want to see how the saddle is going to work with She-Ra's skirt.

Sorceress - Long overdue, especially when there are at least 2 versions of her to make.

Catra - I need She-Ra's toyline rival badly.

Fisto - My favourite heroic warrior.

Man-E-Faces - Hopefully he'll be in his cardback colour scheme.

I’d like to see at least one more figure, like Roboto, where they brake one of their guidelines/rules. Examples:

- Like with Roboto, it would be nice to see another action feature in the line.
- A figure with full armor as opposed to half armor. Some armor pieces are just not going to look right with the half armor system.
- A figure with huge 200X influence. My vote goes to Snake Armor He-Man. Not only “hyper detail” in the armor, but even a new head sculpt with the same looking face but with a closed mouth, exposed ears, and 200X haircut (sans the spiked look). Who better to go up against King Hiss.

I'd love to see Mantenna or Leech (or both!). For heroic warriors I'd love to see Mekaneck, Fisto, Ramman, or Man-e-faces. Hopefully we'll at least get one of them. Spikor, Clawful, or Stinkor would be well welcomed as well.
