I made this announcement yesterday in the thread for The unofficial cartoon guide to He-Man and the Masters of the Universe...And then realized that I should've posted the news in this forum first...

So, here we go, in mid-to-late 2011 expect to see this book released...

Please be aware that this is merely a mock-up cover...

Great! Can't wait! It's a shame that there probably isn't a large enough audience for an NA cartoon guide as well.

I would buy it! No illustration. First orders shouldn't have one.
And offer the "other twin" book on a lower price when bought together!!!

Thanks for the positive response everyone. Wheels are very much in-motion with the book and we hope to make it the She-Ra guide to end all She-Ra guides.

If you enjoyed James' spectacular He-Man book, this will be right up your street.

2011 will be the Year of the Princess of Power- just you wait!

I'm stoked to see that people are looking forward to this book!

When the book is ready for print/pre-orders I'll probably offer a choice of three or four prints - There's a LOT of cool Bruce Timm concept artwork for She-Ra that has to be seen to be believed!

Also, I should mention that the BEAUTIFUL background artwork is by my favorite "Italian Stallion" Emiliano Santalucia!

Here I was hoping you were going to offer a print that featured some of the "adult" artwork featuring She-Ra & her pals that I keep coming across anytime I use Google Images.

I read somewhere or seen (in the dvd extras) that he had to re-draw the moon/clouds because the original element wasnt too good to be used..

As soon as I saw the cover I thought of this and knew that it was Emil's art. Didnt want to say anything because I thought of the posibility that it may be YOUR drawing.

The art as it is, is GREAT!

Only thing I hate on your announcement for this book is the scheduled "date"

I had given Emil a scan from a laser copy of the original background - It didn't look all that pretty - And then Emiliano worked his magic...

Alex and I will start work on it in the New Year - As there are two of us working on the book we may be able to finish it sooner rather than later - That said, we don't want to rush this...

I've been waiting for this news.

Everything is coming into place quite nicely.

Now we just need an NA guide and an MYP guide and we're good to go!

I'm VERY excited about this book. Moreso than the beautiful (and amazing) He-Man book you made. Because, She-Ra is where it's at.

P.S. I have all the storyboards to the first 4 episodes of PoP/ the Secret of the Sword movie. So, if you don't have them and need some info, just let me know and I shall be more than happy to help out!
