Horde Prime & Horde Supreme Speculation and Discussion

Horde Prime looks the way he does in screen grabs that are from a toon 20 years old.

There are similarities, but I doubt anyone involved with producing these action figures would blatantly rip off another design, they're professionals…especially the 4H.

I thought it looked familiar too; I couldn't place it until now. I will most likely display mine without the helmet unless the face sculpt is not pleasing, which I doubt it will be.

For people wondering, yes the ear/fins are part of the ALT HEAD for Horde Prime: It's essentially his face like in 200X where

 

he did the shout to kill KG.

except in red.

going by the monster vampire theme of the horde what if the red is blood! and the details on the armour are tubes of blood!

Wow. Horde Prime looks freaking cool. I'm very excited for that figure.

While his character has been around for since the POP Filmatin cartoon, he's never existed in figure form, so he represents something new.

His colors look great and his basic design looks wicked.

I don't like the design of the UK head but I'm very happy that we are getting it. I know there are fans of that design, and it does represent motu history.

So I really am pleased to be getting it. That's a wonderful gift from the 4H and Toyguru and it is appreciated.

Nice reuse of the Faceless One's skirt piece, and I love the black Roboto arms.

Of course now I'm in a quandry with this figure. I don't know what to do with him.

Like Baron Terror, I prefer the grey magic using Hordak to be Horde Prime and the blue tech using Filmation version to be Hordak.

It's such a simple solution and it works.

I think I may just keep this one Horde Supreme and use him as my Horde Prime's (the current grey Classics Hordak) and the eventual Filmatin Hordak's father on my toy shelf.

Either way, I dig this figure and I can't wait to get him.

exactly! he is the supream horde leader whatever you call him. this could be what grey hordak turns into, but it doesnt really matter. love the figure, love the uk head (even if im not using it) for the same reasons. this is the ultimate horde prime/supreme (i also like him being supreme) figure. i may just have to make a custom with spector for uk version too. could be the "hordak" of another sector, if you think of hordak like a ruler's titke like "moff" in star wars like i do.
maybe uk horde prime is the leader of hordespace that the tri solar system is in from NA... wait, that's brilliant! now i am certainly doing this!

Just got Horde Prime, and he is the only MOTUC figure that I have opened (because of his awesome head sculpt/paint). So today I was really looking at the figure and noticed that the right leg is longer than the left by at least 1/16 of an inch! Anyone else have that? I dont guess its a very big deal, but it does make it a little hard for him to stand.

Seriously stared at this thinking "Oh, nice job adding a visor to the figure! Interesting. But why resculpt the whole helmet if it's almost exactly the same as the toy? I guess the make the fork part really tall and cool and WHOA THAT'S NOT A TOY IT'S A PERSON."

Ridiculously accurate and well crafted is what I'm saying.
