I repeat, it's a Frazetta figure rather than a Conan figure.
Conan looked quite different before Frazetta painted him.
This whole look comes squarely from Frazetta! Mark Taylor was inspired by Frazetta rather than Conan.
When the boxarts were comissioned, they were briefed to make it look like Frazetta rather than Conan.
I'm with Eamon on this one, I also see this figure more of a Frank Frazetta inspired than Conan especially considering the inclusion of the viking helmet, the axe and the bone assembled necklace.
However, Vikor could have been a little extra cooler if he had a red hair instead.
Epic Metal music rocks the universe.

Keeping the brand relevant with regular reboots might be something that MOTU will have to do in order to keep the brand out there.
You are the same MGM who wants as much 2002 in your MOTUC as possible aren't you? It's still there. MOTUC toys haven't erased it either. If anything, you're getting more 2002 in the MOTUC bios than I'm getting RAH in any of my G.I. Joe filecards(if I bought them that is).

You have Larry Hama's IDW comic that continues the Marvel run from where he left off. Beats the MOTUC bios.

I wasn't saying that MOTUC erased 200X. Just saying that MOTU might have to reboot MOTU every year like Hasbro does their properties IF it ever returns to prominence.

Great review. I don't like how the necklace is tighter around the neck then the prototype.
Can I request a pic of Vikor riding Battle Cat with out the saddle and mask?

....so instead of calling him "Conan" We should call him "Frazettor"?

Call him what you like, great looking toy. Yay.

There are few figures Pixel Dan's reviews haven't made me want more, and Vikor is definitely no exception. I never realized his sword looked so cool! It's a pity his cape is so stiff and the helmet is unremovable though. I'm sure I'd like him twice as much if he had a bare-headed, non caped option.

Very good review. I also enjoy the concept figures. Very excited for this figure.

Sometimes I do wish we would have gotten the dual clip that was designed.

I think it is fine with one clip as I do not have any problem with the shield staying on.

Why would you want 2 clips?

2 clips look more real to me and it looks more firm. You can't turn it around anymore though which is also cool.

The pic is from the DVD volume 3 disk 3

The figure is awesome but I missed the muscle shades from the first figures.

Do you think it would be good to add some scars or litle cut marks in the MOTUC figures, I'm asking because seeing the weapons (swords, axes, whips, etc) I just see "clean" figures or it would be too much?

Looking forward to this guy evenmore, now! Thanks, Dan!
Not to sound like a creepy cheerleader for Uki, but it's nice to know there is at least one person on this forum who is extremely positive & friendly all the time. I don't think I could be that nice even if you paid me. If we ever give out awards for "forum member of the month", Uki gets my vote. -Mr. Shokoti

Ah ha! Is that what it is? Many folks have been commenting on YouTube and sending me messages asking why I didn't show the blue sword that came with him...but there was absolutely no blue sword in the box, and I was really starting to get confused by this. When I tell them I don't have a blue sword, they all tell me I'm wrong!

Awesome! That is good to know! Hopefully it is just an isolated problem with mine then.

Vikor looks so awesome. It's the figure I look the most forward to in the whole line so far.

Concerning his cape being stiff, hey, maybe Vikor happened to boil his leather cloak by mistake? :P

So do I but I am from Minnesota!

I also like the idea of concept characters, being introduced into the official cannon. If Vikor was merely a He-Man variant I would most likely have skipped him, I like the Idea of getting never before released character with this line.

    Dan,

There's been a lot of talk recently among those that have received Vikor that he features a new, and somewhat inferior neck-peg, that actually reduces his neck-articulation, other than his hair and cape already do.

Can you do a second follow-up on this highly popular figure, like you did with Teela, that was also a highly popular figure, with some other questions?

Also, can you double-check if your Vikor has the scars on various parts of his body, that some people are reporting is missing on their Vikors?
