NA time!.There is a new alliance, Skeletor controls the mutants and with their help he plans to get rid of the Horde empire and the Heroic warriors. No one is safe in the universe now.

Still trying to get used to the MYP-screengrabbed backgrounds with Filmation characters in foreground....

But the colour-tint choises help a lot in creating the mood here.

PS. Oh and love the pairing of Beastman and Evil-Lyn. Harkens back to "Cosmic Comet" days when Beastman
was someone you would take a bit more seriously.

Yeah I love those episodes. Beast Man deserves more protagonism.
I would have loved Beast Man to have been the one who freed Gygor instead of Evil Lyn.

I think that NA Skeletor is awesome, much more in line with what Skeletor "should" have looked like if Filmation had continued the story

I always argue the story is not the issue, it was the too extreme depiction of Skeletor that killed it for a lot of people

Nah. What killed it for me was that the cartoon was never shown here, except for the pilot, which was shown at like 4am one time, and never again. So I never saw any of it until the DVD release.

I only bought three of the NA figures and the Bolajet, mainly because I was a little disappointed that they weren't the same style as MOTU, and I had kind of moved on to TMNT. I had Battle Punch He-Man, Battle Blade Skeltor, and Slushhead.

Evil Lyn found Gygor in a state of suspended animation. She will free him but needs the help of Beast Man to control the big ape. Until they control him they won't give him his weapons.

With this one I wanted to add Beast man into the story. I find it lame that Evil Lyn is always the one who frees people from stuff. So I decided to give Beast Man a little roll in this particular moment of history.

Gygor's cool & all (though I'm a little sad the setting causes us not to see his awesome lemon yellow quite as well), but that Evil-Lyn is smoking hot!
