    A lot of time......

Seriously tho first I took him all apart and soaked head, arms, and legs in water for about 15 mins. It kinda worked on some of the thick moss. Then just scrape it with fingernail and/ or toothpick. I was afraid to use anything hard as not to gouge the soft plastic. Then I moved onto a product called Goo Gone sold at Walgreens. Much easier, it's used to remove glue. The hardest part was the torso. After many hours it came out great. Amazing how well 30 year old glue holds up. Hope this helps.

Thanks again to beastor for the moss man.
