How big are the Power Rangers/Ben-10 figs? I'm assuming that's how big the new toys are going to be.

hey are somewhere between 3.75-5", there are like 6 lines of toys (mini, standard, deluxe/big)

I dunno about these new designs.... Over stylized but true to classic look. Panthro looks like the hulk, Cheetara looks like she could develop back problems. Lion-O and tygra look Ok...

Interesting that the Tower of Omens is being introduced as a toy first. Pretty big spoiler if a cats lair was too expensive...I think the big reveal will be the Mutants and Mumm-Ra. Hope vulterman is around at the beginning this time around, rather than magically appearing later...

Oh well, at least my wallet will be happier.
It sounds like there will be 6" figures:

Additionally, there will be 15cm (larger?) deluxe variations of the modern standard figures, with pretty much the same design.

    15cm is 6".

Mmmm...Actually, Panthro looks identical to Jet Black from Cowboy Bebop.
There's no sign of WilyKit nor WilyKat.
Would the other TC's may appear? Wuould there be new ones?
Oh, this is exciting in same way as MOTU MYP was. I do hope that they don't follow the Transformers Prime route though

Yeah, I saw that. That's very cool. And I'm certainly trying to be optimistic about the new modern versions of these guys.
It just seems like that 8" line is more philosophically in line with MOTUC. I wish it was closer in scale.

    From what I can see...

The designs look pretty fantastic. I'm really loving the updates, and I hope that people reserve their whining.

Its not 1987 anymore. Baby blue onesies aren't not an acceptable level of awesome by todays standards for superhero costumes, and mime make-up is not cool. Let the new looks breathe a little, and give the new toon a chance before you have a nerd tantrum.

Personally I'm glad the line is a 6'' scale. I'll display them with my 200X. Stylistically, they're probably closer anyway.

Toys look cool from a distance...it will be sweet to see them closer up when we're allowed and the toon looks really cool.

I knew they would do a good job. The Sword of Omens looks pretty cool too. Maybe MATTEL should release a Power Sword or too...

I haven't seen a Power Ranger figure in Wal-Mart, ToysRUs, Zellers, Sears or anywhere else in my area for about 3 years.

You can have some of ours, I just stopped by a Walmart today and there was an entire aisle I should have dubbed "Bandai" world since it was made up entirely of Power Rangers Samurai and Ben 10

I'm happy to see they were faithful (and maybe even THEN some) to Cheetara's rack.

the toons look alight but the toys look terrible guess they had a bunch of teen titans parts left over.

I'm going to wait until I see these designs in action before ultimately judging them.

First gut reaction: I'm getting a ThunderCats meets Phantasy Star vibe from these designs. If they play it like that, this new show could be pretty cool. I have to see Tygra standing upright. Pretty dark designs, opposed to the bright 80's costumes. My jury is out on Panthro so far. Are they trying to make Cheetara similar to Lion-O in age? Do I smell a triangle between Lion-O, Cheets and Tygra?

I really like the redesigns, I'm just gonna hae no money. I hope they play the pimp music whenever Panthro walks on, always made me laugh.

I, for one, love Panthro's sideburns

Anyone else think the Thundertank looks more like one of Hordak's tanks than the original Thundertank that actually looked like a cat
