Man, they really jacked up those 6 inch figures. First off, Lion-O's face is just down right ugly and do I mean ugly. Secondly, Mumm-Ra is a mess. He has no cape, his head is small, he has no articulation on his body at all, what the hell were they thinking? They made up buy the first two 8 inch figures and then canned them to bring these out? WHY?!

I know that, at one point, someone took some great new 6" Lion-O/ MOTUC He-Man comparison pics. From the looks of these and what I recall from those pics, 6" Thundercats Classics are going to be VERY close to MOTUC scale.

I struggled with it, but I decided to get it because:

1) I needed to spend at least $13 more to get free shipping
2) Translucent Tygra is cool (it's his power)
3) The fence part can go in my display cabinet behind the figures...possibly
4) The little vehicle looks a bit like the classic tower

That was my reasoning...and in that order.

SO excited I got the Thundertank @ $13 though. I mainly wanted Snarf...even though he's 3 times the scale of the cartoon.

The tower is well worth 19. Had I paid 40 I woulda been furious.

If you go get a paint maker or some acrylics just to fill in some detail, the tower looks great as a backdrop. I painted the swirls around the gate gold and working the leaves and vine all around the tower now. Though I may add some additional blue to it down the road, it just looks bizzare without that filled in.

Ive seen some repaints that look amazing, but I wanna keep it original, just fill in the details.

Nope, only online at Target.

They opted out of ordering them before Christmas so you won't see them in stores most likely till right before Christmas or in Jan.

Unlike Walmart and Toys R Us which both increased their orders from Bandai, Target refused.

The figure prices are all across the board...some are higher, some are lower.

I went to TRU at Sheffield yesterday and I think they had everything in.

The awesome thing was there was this kid there, about 5-6, and he was so excited about the Thundercats stuff, he was naming all the characters and telling his parents which ones he wanted, it was really nice to see and I can't even stand kids

I didn't pick anything up myself I just wanted to see them in hand. I'm not fussed about the new style stuff and I was going to get the Classics but think I'm going to wait for the 6" Classics now. But those 8" Classics are really big, I wasn't quite prepared for how big they actually were in hand.

I did however get a sweet Thundercats t-shirt from Primark in Sheffield, it was £6. I will try and post a pic later.

Pesky Bandai not allowing me to import the tank & tower from amazon!

Went to TRU last night & despite only being on sale for 10 days here in the UK the pegwarmers are already very clear. Yes, mummy Mumm-Ra, I'm talking about you. Thunderkittens aren't selling very well either.

I agree. I'm still REALLY happy I got them on sale so much, but it's a bummer everything dropped a total of $9 the day after I ordered it. That ALWAYS happens to me!
