    My power tour blog

I decided to make a modest blog about this spectacular and unforgettable show known as power tour.
The blog is dedicated to gathering all possible information may have is on the net about the power tour (pictures , videos, articles, etc) and bring them together in one place . unfortunately there is not much (i had to do a little magic lol) but enough to make a blog.

I hope you like it and if anyone has material let me know and I will put it on the blog.
the power tour was an important part of motu, maybe look bizarre today but I imagine what would have been to see the show through the eyes of a child.
sorry if there are any spelling mistakes,English is not my language.

    check it out http://themotupowertour.blogspot.com/

    Cool site!

One question... who is CAPTAIN MORRISON? Did he actually appear in the show?

Program (remember to make the picture the original size):

    People Magazine Article:

LA Times Article from the .org:

    A different LA Times Article:

    He-Man and She-Ra weren't paid too much...and that's interesting about the accidents.

I have found more Pour Tour merchandise pictures before, but I have no idea where they are now. I'm pretty sure I saved them though!

thanks, those things are already on the blog. I hope to find more information about the power tour

yes, he-man and She-ra did not make much money and this was a very intense show

    this is from people:

It is not very remunerative.Together, the 22-week for non union tour, Jack and Leslie say They will make $ 40,000, Which He Says Equity scale is Below, and Will Not Be Paid extra for extra performances.

I hope mattel or landmark have a recording with a good shot about the power tour

Oh. sorry. I didn't think you had seen those.

It might be cool to add these fun facts (I used investigative skills to get the dates of the accidents right. ):

    - Jack was 250 pounds at 6'1"
    - Leslie was 5'10"
    - The Power Sword weighed 15 pounds and was made of alluminum alloy
    - Jack sweats off three pounds of water during every performance
    - May 3rd, 1987, a member of the Eternian Court, in the midst of a complex dance-battle number, fell off a riser, suffering a concussion
    - April 27th, 1987, Leslie herself fell down a flight of stairs when a smoke machine began spitting oil onto the stage
    - She once missed a sword "strike" and smote her husband on the leg, inflicting a gash. "I sliced him," she says. "It was painless," he replies gallantly.
    - Biographies of the lead performers were deliberately omitted from press releases which was "an executive policy decision."

You have a lot of cool stuff there!

I did find a link where a guy says his brother in-law's best friend played Man-At-Arms. He said he's "a tall skinny Jewish Canadian."

I can't post the direct link because it has inapropriate words on the message board, but here's what he says:

I laughed my ass off when I saw this! My brother-in-law's best friend, a guy named Zack Hoffman (a tall skinny Jewish Canadian) played MAN-AT-ARMS. He also narrated the show (he had a deep booming voice) My buddy and I took my 7 YO nephew to the L.A. Sports arena to see the show......It was a friggin ZOO!, we had backstage passes and front row seats! we couldv'e probably sold the for $100 bucks! (a princely sum in those days!)...........Ahh memories.

    I am Flint
Here's a link to his profile on the site:

holy ****. someone has the tour on video! never seen this before.
Edit: okay it's not the whole thing, but i'm currently saving all these videos. apparently the uploader has the entire show on tape, but is only putting up parts because of copyright.
