Hmmm... shouldn't we be seeing official pictures of her soon? That ToyFare reveal was weeks ago!
I just read the Ask Matty from Kastor's Korner, and that was his response to one of the questions. We didn't know she was coming with a whip, did we?

That's kind of funny since I olanned on giving her the red whip from the first weapons pack.

Neat! More weapons is always good, and I love how they're repurposing the combs.

I love this.
The repurposing of the combs IS cool.
I think it's morbid - in a good way - that all these women have weapons with these medieval spike "comb" weapons that would just STICK into the victim.

I'm happy she has more weapons though. Weapons are good.
Also happy about softer clothes. Thank you for listening Mattel!

Yeah...a "comb-whip" sounds stupid but hopefully it looks alright. I'm not really down with these "comb-weapons" to begin with. Like yeah it's a cool homage I guess to the classic PoP figures, but their hair is solid plastic in MOTUC. I think I'd rather just have a straight up new weapon rather than a modified "comb-weapon".

BLÅÇK FLØWËRŠ!!!!
wasn't a fan of comb-weapons at first glance, but i must
admit it's a very nice homage and now my she-ra proudly
wields her comb(at)-axe on my shelf!
btw, i remember some cool artworks by buffalo bill man
showing interesting idea for comb(at)-weapons, i'd like
to see them actually realized in motuc.
I'm really glad she's coming with a whip but hope the comb part is really subtle with short teeth. Looking forward to pictures, I guess they will be at ToyFair in a few weeks as well.

Interesting. Now when will be able to see this and the alternate toy mask?![]()
Sounds good.
I really like She-Ra's comb-axe and the figure is proudly holding it in my display. I hope Catra's whip-axe looks just as cool.
Very exciting about the comb-whip!So glad the POP gals are not all getting comb-axes, as much as I like She-Ra's weapon.
This may get me thinking how many different ways can you redesign a comb?

Nice! Now all I need is a ripcord-whip for Dragstor!
"Why's Dragstor riding on Night Stalker?" "Cause he can."
Awesome! I love the comb-weapons idea.
I agree that Dragstor's ripcord should be a whip. Blast Attak's plunger should be a detonator, as another .Other suggested, too!
Not to sound like a creepy cheerleader for Uki, but it's nice to know there is at least one person on this forum who is extremely positive & friendly all the time. I don't think I could be that nice even if you paid me. If we ever give out awards for "forum member of the month", Uki gets my vote. -Mr. Shokoti

I'm hoping the specific reference to the skirt being softer is a hint that they are making her compatible with an upcoming mount, aka Clawdeen. Regardless, it's a welcome change that one hopes might migrate to the guys' loincloths.
As for the whip-comb, the comb end could be a pretty nasty weapon; holding the other end and flinging that at someone could make for some gruesome wounds...

I'm also excited about the idea of a comb-whip! I liked the comb axe, but I like the idea even more that they might be mixing up the kind of weapons that they pair with a comb, instead of giving *EVERYONE* a comb-axe like She-Ra.
Although, I could also them them going the route of giving all the heroic women comb-axes, and the evil women comb-whips, leaving them to re-use comb-whips for Entrapta and Double Trouble (she fronting as evil), which whould echo the long pony tails that each of those characters have.

I really do enjoy how they are taking the combs and turning them into weapons. This way, they can look their best while going into battle. Partially, an homage to the old figs, partially as an inside joke. I know that I've voiced my opinion on the boards before about my only complaint with POP figures was the replacement of weapons with combs. The inclusion of an accessory that can kill is awesome for: 1. its inventiveness and 2. its nostalgic purpose. I can't wait to see how the 4H will incorporate the combs for the other POP figures!!!
