Signed guard...! (?)

As usual, we're behind in both current events and figures over here but my sets of palace guards arrived today along with a not-broken-goddess, which is a first for me.

Not really willing to admit how much I actually pose my figures in different ways around my apartment, but I feel I had to share this little discovery. It's probably already been discussed at length in some other thread, as often is the case, but I made an effort to take these pics so...

Twisting the waist on one of my guards I saw a smudge... that turned out to be someones autograph, I think. There's some chinese and what I think are numbers.

...I hope I won something...

I thought this was going to be a thread talking about taking our guard figures to Toy Fair to have ToyGuru sign them.

That is very, very stange and interesting. I wonder what it says?

Does anyone read Chinese here?

I really can't tell if it's all chinese, It looks mixed. Don't think it's Scott who's been let loose with a pen though, this is the other figure.

I do, but the pics aren't clear enough. It's difficult to read with the thick paint.

Poor Assembly guy. After building up enough nerves to ask Sheila for her phone number he realizes he has no paper to write it on. Reaching for a Palace Guard waist to write the phone number down would later be revealed as the BIGGEST MISTAKE HE EVER MADE. Ferio and Sheila. Happily ever after. The End.

I think your Chinese is a bit rusty. It obviously says "Not Penny's Boat".

Not in the mood to joke, so I won't. In factory production, each employee is made to sign their name, or employee number to each part that they work on, so that their work can be traced back if necessary. There is a solution that takes the ink off quickly, and each part is supposed to be stripped of it's employee information. I'm pretty certain that's what you've got there. Interesting find though. You should try and contact the employee, and tell them what a wonderful job they did/didn't do, depending on your satisfaction level. 0-0
