I don't know what is wrong with you, i didn't say that i liked the movie. (show me where did i wrote that i liked it), i just sad it flopped because of wrong timing. The movie didn't came out when it should be (and it doesn't matter if He-Man went on Mars, Earth or Jupiter in that matter) - most of people do agree with me except of youFor those of you that think the future Masters of the Universe movie should take place in any setting other than Eternia... Go make your own thread, they already made your movie. lol. Any movie that doesn't take place in Eternia will be an EPIC FAIL. I wouldn't even go and see it. It's when your an expert at english that you get really bad at it.
I would rather see a really well done animated movie than a larger budget mainstream movie directed by someone who doesnt understand the source material.
I would like to see both a live action movie and animated movie. I would hope that the director is someone who grew up with the vintage toys and original Filmation cartoons.

Im prepared for any new MOTU movie to be awful. I have seen great properties reduced to garbage. However thats just my opinion and doesn`t change my love for the parts of those properties that has existed for 25 years. To be fair my garbage movie, may be gold to the general public and that is what the franchise needs to get itself back on the retail shelves for a sustained period. Im sure there will be some cool bits for anyone, no matter what they do.
Basically im saying wether this happens or not, wether it is awesome or a pile of poo etc. It doesn`t have t have to change what you feel about what went before. I have seen fans of other franchises check out when they don`t like a movie and thats just sad.

Masters of the Universe is one of the best movies ever to be made, because of the story and meaning.
..along with Transformers and Robotech. These are at the top of the story mountain.
Hollywood won't likely make these movies right, because they are afraid it would end their rein of power.
If people can just watch the good stuff at home and nothing at the theatre compares, then hollywood wouldnt make any money.

I think what has become just an add-on to the stories connected to the toys and Filmation - the kidnapping of Adora by Hordak - could drive the entire plot. the placfe I wouldn't have - well not in a first movie - is Despondos.
I see a film plot as a no-brainer:
1. Marzo as an enemy Keldor, Duncan and Randor fight
2. Marlena crashlanding on Eternia
3. Romance between Randor and Marlens
4. Alienation of Keldor and seduction-to-darksideTM by Marzo
5. Birth of the twins
6. Involvement of Hordak whose powers Keldor uses to defeat Marzo.
7. Hordak disappearing with baby Adora to Etheria as a "price" for helping Keldor.
8. Keldor and Randor feud - Keldor scarred and retreating - Randor deeply saddened.
9. Years later Randor and Marlena a benevolent but weak rulers.
10. Adam lazy - Duncan resentful as his daughter is expected to put her life on the line while Adam doesnt.
11. Rise of Skeletor - siege of Eternos by Skeletor's henchmen.
12. Duncan training Adam after a Teela kidnapping and subsequent acquiring of sword of power by Adam
13. He-Man going against Skeletor.

I think that sounds awesome. I got excited for the film again just reading your bullet pointed ideas. Hopefully we get some updates soon. It has been sometime since we have heard any encouraging news.

Blood and Earth magic and crystal rock magic????? What the heck are any of these things and what do they have to do with MOTU?
Why do you continue to talk about these different magic types as if they mean something, as if they are an official part of MOTU? They don't and they are not. You made them up so they are actually as meaningless as every other piece of fan fiction that has ever been created (my own included) when it comes to official canon. If you wish to use these ideas in your fan fiction / storyboards or even suggest that they possibly be used in a future movie then please do just that, just please stop referring to them as if they actually already part of the official canons

:hmlolI got a plot twist....He-man's loin cloth gets caught in a blender , removing what makes him a "HE"...The Mighty Spector goes back in time and kills the brother inventors of the blender (Blakk & Deck-or) so He-man can remain a He in the future. I think I am usualy clear about 'the way to do it', and 'the way it was done'.
I theoried work of all the stems of the He-Man tree.
..I know that rock magic and blood magic are not in Masters, because there was never any rules or history for it.
(so I made it more solid in my work)
Also I see He-Man and She-Ra as opposition and an ethical story meaning about differences.
First they fight, then they learn to live together.

MOTU is a Skeletor Vs He-Man thing for the powers of Grayskull. He-Man and She-ra fighting? They never fought in the series. Unless count the short part in the Secret of the Sword when Adam was seeking the recipient of the sword. Though never can I remember He-man and She-ra actually fighting as He-man and She-ra. Why would they fight each other? They would be dealing w/ events much bigger than themselves anyway. It sounds a little too self-indulgent to be MOTU. Better look at the theory again.
I still don't understand any of this. How does rock and blood magic make it more solid? What is rock and blood magic? What is wrong with it simply being "magic" like it has always been, that is the most simple (and solid) way of doing it imho.
Also what do you mean by "the way to do it"? Do you mean that in "your canon" this is how it is done or are you saying this is the way it should be done in "all canons" because it is the only correct way to do it? One sounds fine while the other comes across a bit egotistical.

Blood magic is respectful and practised and earned.
Rock magic is horded and taken and owned.
Blood magic people need to deal with their skill and lawful rights all the time.
Rock magic people just need to know where they left the item they got.

I'm convinced -- convinced -- there will be a He-man film. It's too iconic a franchise for there not to be. It's simply a matter of putting the right elements together -- a writer to write a great script, a fabulous director and a visionary studio. Those elements are all out there; they already exist. Combined with the amazing He-man franchise, rich characters and powerful, value-rich storyline, it has to happen eventually. Believe me -- and remember I said it -- the stars will align.
If you were approached Jack would you want to write a screenplay for a new movie?
