Had NA not had the "He-man" title, it would have been an extremely popular show I think. The writing in some of the episodes is fantastic. I can't wait to finally get a Slush head and Hydron in this line. It would be amazing to see a Lizor also!

Wow! I am so happy to see that so many other fans want to see more NA!!

For the life of me, I cannot understand why people think the Galactic Guardians aren't cool. Seriously, the designs are just as unique as anyone in vintage MOTU, and the 4H have proven that they can take a cool figure (NA Optikk) and turn it into a spectacular figure (Optikk MOTUC)!!!!!!

I love any and everything that is MOTU. But New Adventures holds a special place for me because Mattel was bold enough to take an already established universe and inject it with invigorating new life!

I don't think that He-Man will be the next NA character. To balance out Optikk, I really think that Mattel will give us Flipshot. But with an awesome cast of Guardians, or Protectors if you will, we have many to choose from:

    - Flipshot (gets my vote due to popularity...)
    - Hydron
    - Darius
    - Tuskador
    - Vizar
    - Kayo
    - Nocturna
    - Artilla
    - Spinwit
    - Sagitar

Mattel better get on the ball! We have a lot of catching-up to do! Maybe 2012 will be the year of New Adventures!

This Skeletor needs the Bionics like the Roboto Arms (but on the legs too).
The Havoc Stuff needs the NA Look.

Going back to what this thread was orginally about, I think one important factor to consider would be to include Clobber, his companion bird from NA, with NA Heman. He Appeared in the art book, and someone asked toyguru if he was availible and he said yes. I really hope that is the case.

NA He-Man can have so many accessories...

    • His toy chest harness
    • His cartoon chest harness
    • His golden armor
    • Helmeted Head
    • Ponytailed Head
    • Vintage Head
    • Translucent Power Sword
    • Shield

    • Cartoon Power Sword could be a Weapons Pak release

I have to ask Jack Olester what is the significance of the ponytail? Was it because he was "resurrected" inside of the Fountain of Freedom?

I was just about to say the same thing. If Mattel gets the Filmation/Jetlag rights, then it's essential that a NA He-Man figure comes with a head that looks exactly like the cartoon. That's by far the most handsome he ever looked in media, with the ponytail being by far his best hairstyle - just see the picture above as clear evidence.

We don't just need NA He-Man, we need a 'toon accurate one!

When I first came to the boards, I remembered NA as the 2nd version of He-Man that was not my He-Man. Hmmm, I guess he's like the 2nd Doctor, but without death and regeneration...*shakes head-gets back on track***

I am getting more and more psyched for this figure to be released though. He has cool stuff like a friggin' translucent sword and board(!) and possible removeable helmet(possibly not).

This little guy's aesthetic has finally won me over after plenty of years since his debut.

I hope we see his release before the end of 2012.

    Like both of those characters!

Also, I would rather have Sagitar, the variants are too many. They should spread them out more. Again, I would rather have characters like Vikor and Bikini Teela.

He-Ro,Kronis, Hordak and Catra comes from the Future that i like why they going bak to Eternian Time.

Bring the Great Rebellion to Eternia is cool too why the Hrode looks more Powerfull and all Heros on the Mystic Planet Eternia ^__^

As Child i have Wished He-Man go back with Galactic Ranges and Skeletor with the Mutants. I have Played all time wiht both ToyLines united!!!

It is absolutely ludicrous that by the end of 2011 we will have at most two NA figures in this line. Optikk sold like every other MOTUC figure; there is no reason to keep pushing other NA characters to the back of the release line. Enough with the obscure bikini Teelas and Chief Carnivuses before Flipshot, Hydron, Flogg, and NA He-Man and Skeletor.

If nine hundred He-Man.Org members get eaten by Thundercats fans, but neither of them has a toyline, does it still count as a fan movement?

I'm really looking forward to NA He-Man, he's my most wanted HM variant. Hope we get a helmeted and pony tale head, don't see any need to give us an original HM head, just use one from a previous release if thats the head you want to use. Also needs to some with the NA powers sword and shield and removable armor.

I'm wondering if any potential NA He-man figure could double as a He-slave figure with just the addition of maybe one or two accessories. I think that they could make two versions of He-man's chest strap and have one version He-slave's and the other the standard NA He-man.

    He-slave.jpg

That and possibly include He-slave's sword as well as the NA He-man sword.

    heslave2.jpg

Though I'm just wondering if NA He-man/He-slave's chest piece could be based on Kronis/Trapjaw's chest piece (with a bit of modification).

    motuc-trapjaw_kronis__7_full.jpg

Also lastly I think that to make the figure less plain it could maybe do with He-man having the Grayskull symbol on his chest strap. Similar to this piece of fan art, but not as overdone.

I think He-Slave would be a really cool idea for a quarterly variant, though I'm not sure if they would be able to fit all the accessories in for normal NA He-Man. I'm already wondering how they would fit all the armor pieces with the normal bandolier and many versions of the NA Power Sword!

I dunno. He-Slave doesn't have a lot different outside his own sword and a Skull symbol on his chest plate. Even if it was an extra sword and complete chest plate for the He-man figure, I don't see it being hard to fit in the packaging. Though thinking about it only the sword really needs to be the only extra accessory since the chest plate could work like Bow's and you could swap between the Skull symbol and the Grayskull symbol.

I'm just wondering if for MOTUC would a 200X techno sword with a transparent yellow blade might serve for MOTUC's NA Power sword? It would sort of go with the more futuristic feel for NA He-man. Also isn't there a few different versions of the NA power sword itself?

My MOTUC IDEA of Thunderstrike He-Man:

The forearm weapon should arm like Man-At-Arms its extra armor forearm or like the Cosmic Key from Mighty Spector!
