support: Faceless One with black hood - It's been changed!

first of all: i love the Faceless One! His character (a reinterpretation of FILMation's Zanthor) was one of the best things about the MYP cartoon!

and i love how the 4HM sculpted him, but i'm wondering if there is time and "logistics" to change the color of the inner side of his hood to black?! it would just be a small fix, but a great improvement imo. thus his head seems more like it's floating.

pros:
- the head "pops"/seems to be flaoting
- it's more accurate to his other representations
- it's more coherent since the inside of the cape is also black

I would love it to be painted black, but if they do not then I will.

Should his head not glow, it will shortly after I get him.

And I don't mean that as in "it's supposed to be becuse it was in the cartoon.

I agree with this. Except for the glow- mine will be faceless. Mine will have a robe also.

Didn't TG already say that what was shown is final other than MEF?
Admittedly the darker hood does look better.

Yes, it needs to be black. He also needs a second head without features on it. Pack it with 200x Evil-Lyn mattel!

Pretty much that. A black Magic marker would probably do the trick if nothing else.

I hope they just change it as it unquestionably looks better, if not...the ol' paint/marker bit isn't gonna work too well for us MOC collectors =(

I have to agree yet again!! That version with-out the mouth and black sockets looks even better!

With all of these two second changes it makes you wonder what the hell is going on over there when you guys are doing all of this with a few clicks via photoshop and TG was carrying on in Dan's video how 5 heads were experimented with, every option was tried....years of hard labor were implemented...blah blah blah and now this!! *Shrug*

This figure could be the BEST looking figure to date if they changed some of the paint apps to make the figure more grim. So yes 100 percent.

I would definitely be happy with the black inner hood! It looks really great already, but it is hard to deny that it wouldnt look even better with the slight change. I noticed on your matty poll that you even included a glow in the dark head option. Although I think that would be cool, I doubt that Mattel could make that happen. I DO think that it is perfectly reasonable to expect them to make this slight change. It just depends on whether or not these figures are already in production....

I agree on a black inner hood. It loks so much better that wa, even with teh mouth.

I won't be too disappointed if Mattel decides not to though, It's an easy fix.
