I've flipped through the mini-comic on line and there are some interesting characters.

For me personally, I have no interest in characters who were exclusive to the mini-comics (such as this green goddess thing-a-ma-bob).

However, I am interested in characters such as Queen Marlena.. Anyone who was featured on the actual show. I understand that Mattel can't use "Filmation only versions" of characters, so I'll be satisfied with the mini-comic versions of them.

Yes they can, he showed up in the mini-comic "Dragon's gift"

I thought he was owned by someone else. Didn't he appear somewhere before he appeared in the mini comic or cartoon or am I just crazy?

I remember thinking Granamyr could appear too because of the mini-comic, but then I too could've swore someone said there was some issue with that particular character.

From what I gathered from the DVD documentary he was created by Filmation writer Larry DiTillio for the classic toon! I wish he were available for a classic fig though

On the DVD, Larry DiTillio comments that he created Granamyr prior to his inclusion in the Filmation series for a roleplaying game for a company called Flying Buffalo. Since he was created before Filmation, the rights probably lie with someone other than ER but is he off limits or can they still make the green variation that appeared in the mini comics?

Granamyr is a character I totally would like to see made.

I think it's been stated that anyone in the mini comics is good to go, so we can see a Green Granymyr but no red one!

I cannot understand peoples fascination with Granamyr. I used to HATE it when he was in an episode. A mean old grumpy man in the form of a dragon.

True, but honestly, aside from his character, he has a really cool design...
AND HE'S A MAGICAL DRAGON! And that's just cool imo!

I'd be totally in for an Alcla-styled Granamyr. I never liked the toon design, but the green minicomic one was awesome.

Geldor would be another character I'd love to see, same goes for the Masks of Power monsters.

I'd buy Granamyr, Green Goddess, blonde Teela, the Ice Hacker (blue creature from Dragon's Gift), Queen Marlena, and the Royal Guards.

Most of the rest are just too minor to pay $20+ for.
