Gygor or Shadow Beast?

For me it's Gygor. I see him as an actual villain, almost like a MOTU version of Gorilla Grodd. Shadow Beasts are basically just generic creatures for Beast Man to control. They also have a far more boring colour scheme than Gygor.

Love them both, but I love Gygor more: splendid details (not that Shadow Beast doesn't have great details), love the concept (fighting Oo-Larr and stuff), totally love the facial expression - that furious rage... He's that close to foaming and frothing from the mouth.

Gygor. Shadowbeast is basically perfect. But I like that giant monkey better. He's the figure that should have been in the vintage era. We got Zoar and Battlecat, he was the triad.

He's big, bright yellow. Has a great cape. Awesome black armour and an axe as big as the masters themselves.

No contest. This guy has it all. and now with his bio, he's a leader and a stand alone villain. A real big bad.

Shadow beasts are great, and I'm glad to have one. But it's a lackey and it's not nearly as compelling as our friend Gygor.

Nice dude. I voted for Gygor and just tied up the poll! I love Shadow Beast and actually just got him in today, but Gygor is more visually appealing.

Shadow beast has the tenure here... it's been seen more, it's been a part of the standard history...

But it's a mook.

ONE shadow beast is nothing... there needs to be 5-10 of the things to be a real threat.

Gygor has the armor, the weapons, and is an individual. There's something about Gygor that makes him unique and therefore more interesting to me than shadowbeast #4 over there...

I picked Gygor. The Shadowbeasts are also cool, but Gygor has a little more 'kick' to him. The weapon and armor are striking and well done, the feral Gorilla scream head sculpt is a stand out for the line and the color scheme is outrageously appealing in a weird way. I really wish the Shadow Beasts had come with an alternate 'roaring' head sculpt to allow for a bit more variation in your beast army.

Shadow Beast....Gygor just doesn't do anything for me, he's a bright yellow gorilla...plus..I don't really know who he is...and Shadow Beast just looks better.

If this poll is accurate..why are there so many cheap Gygors running around that can't be sold? And I hardly see any Shadow Beasts..

Shadow Beast - just because it's an epic beast shown in Filmation's as well as MYP's cartoon. Gygor reminds me too much of King Kong and that makes him silly and ridiculous in my opinion.

Weird question really. But I like polls and gotsta chime in.

I lovd them both but voted Gygor. Because-

A) I like "new" characters I can make up stories for. In my canon Gygor is stronger/as He-Man and he feels everyone should worship him as the Most Powerful One in the Universe.

B) I'd have preferred my Shadow Beasts with a blueish tint.

C) Gygor is a blonde-furred, green-skinned gorilla with a helmet and a cape. Probably one of the best toys ever made.

Sure, the Shadow Beast is great- I actually got SB before Big G (still in the mail), but... giant monkey, everyone. Giant monkey. No can argue the cool of giant monkey! No want try!
