MOTUC Stone Wall diorama

I have been working on a MOTUC Stone Wall diorama/back drop to take photos with. It is currently still WIP but I have just finished painting it.

The stone bricks are made from air dry clay and the main dio is styrofoam. I would have liked the stones to be more uniform but I have never done any sculpting before so I will just say I meant for it to have the rough, hand made, uneven look

I still need to touch up some of the gaps, add some ground cover and some plants but here it is so far;









I have never done anything like this before so please be gentle

Uneven works for MOTU dio bricks for sure. Nice job! The paint is great.

I have never painted anything before but I was actually impressed it turned out as well as it did. I don't think I can hold a candle to other peoples work but it got the desired effect I was after.

I think the bricks look better not being a more uniformed shape. Makes it look older d more primitive and ancient like Castle Grayskull.

What everybody else said. This works SO much better than uniformed bricks. This diorama really has a MOTU feel to it that it would not have had with even sized bricks. Well done!

i like it. i was planning on making a wall. i wonder if it could be lightly flocked to give more of a moss look?

looks great ! an idea if you dont mind i think it would look great if you glued in some moss in some of the cracks and on a few of the bricks its easy and you can get the moss at any hobbie store. just a suggestion looks great the way it is though.

The only thing that is styrofoam is the floor and backing for the wall. All I did was hot glue it together.

Looks great! As for vines you might be able to find something for an aquarium that you could maybe modify somewhat.

Well it has been a while since I have done anything with this. I have now added the ground cover and some vines and moss. I think I am happy with it now. I might still go back to it one day and touch it up but for now it will stay as is.

Simply brilliant! The bricks look great, they shouldn't be uniform at all, in my humble opinion. Moss and vines look awesome. Very, very MotU! Like what you're doing with Webstor there; the Guards are in for a treat.

That has got to be one of the most beautiful homemade diorama pieces I've seen! I think I want to do something like this now, modified slightly, to display my extra MOTUC heads.
