I bought the double Troll/Troll 2 DVD years ago,
but, I only watched the first one. I hated that
movie, so I never saw number 2 - big mistake!
I saw it yesterday for the first time, and I'm in
awe over its entertainment value, it's grotesquely
spellbounding.
It's the most entertaing movie ever. Brilliant!
Bad directing; horrible acting; crappy script;
lousy 'costumes'; terrible effects = EPIC!
I know it has a HUGE cult following in the States,
and it is even screened in small theaters once in
a while. I would looove to see this masterpiece in
a cinema with other Troll 2 entusiasts!

Exactly! It is undeliberately funny, because it's so amazingly bad, bad, bad!
It has some of the most funny punch lines in movie history:
'They're eating her ... and then they're going to eat me ... OH MY GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD!'
'If my father discovers you here, he'd cut off your little nuts and eat them. He can't stand you.'
'They're eating my mom!'

This movie is a must see for sure!

It's definitely up there, but I still put THE ROOM as the worst film ever. It's the most unintentionally funny movie ever made.

Troll one was actually pretty cool. There was some potential there for a great low budget flick.
Troll 2 was terrible. There's nothing redeeming about it at all. How it became a phenom of fail is beyond me. They used to run it almost non-stop on HBO and Showtime in the mid 90s.
Toys, Movies, TV Shows and more reviewed at the pop culture mega site... INFINITE HOLLYWOOD.
There are a lot of fans of the "so bad, it's good" subgenre, of which Plan 9 From Outer Space seems to be the most well-known. I saw that one and laughed at almost the whole way through. Never seen Troll 2 though.

Alright, I only saw the end of it when I was real little (when they were eating his mom) and it scared the ever loving heck outa me. I had no idea this was a hilariously bad movie! I'm gona have to check it out sometime.

Yeah, Troll 2 is bad, but it is still sorta watchable in a Godzilla type of way. I also remember thinking the "popcorn witch" was hot when I was a kid.
On the other hand, After Last Season is unwatchable!!! I actually paid to see it out of morbid curiosity. It was released to theaters in only 4 cities. I've never walked out of a movie before but I actually stood up in the empty theater to do so with this "film". I later reconsidered because I wanted to see how bad it could actually get. Its distributor even told the theaters to just burn the film since it would be cheaper than sending it back. Seriously, how can it get much worse than a movie that has a cardboard MRI machine?
Be sure to see Best Worst Movie. It's an excellent documentary about Troll 2, its fandom,
its cast and crew, etc. It's a very funny movie, made by Troll 2's child star, Michael Paul Stephenson.

When do they start getting naked in that movie? Because the acting, set design, and production values scream 'adult movie' (didn't know if the p-word would be appropriate) to me.
Oh, and Troll 2 is awesome! I'm just gonna have to watch it again since it's currently on Netflix instant viewing.

Unfortunately, there was no nudity to hold one's interest. While the script was probably worse than your average porno, I don't know which has the worst actors.

I love Troll 2! Especially that Sister dance scene! That and The Room are guilty pleasures that get watched often. However Birdemic.......... worst bad movie ever, not even enjoyably bad.

If a movie is entertaining, then it's impossible for it to be the worst movie ever made. And Troll 2 is very entertaining.To me, the worst movies are the boring ones. Troll 2 is a better movie than all three Transformers combined.
Yeah, if you love bad/good movies, Troll 2 is the frickin king. Also be sure to check out the documentary "Best Worst Movie" as someone above mentioned.

THE Room actually has exploded around this way as for "bad" films..Tommy Wisseau was just in Boston a few weeks ago...
they have turned the ROOM into a kinda rocky horror...everyone brings plastic spoons to throw at the screen when we see his spoon paintings in the film....
but Troll 2 is fantastic!!..i love all kinds of campy crappy films... id take them over any Hollywood production any day!!!
