MotUC 90-to-1: Round One

Post-NTYF, a variant on the Idol concept. The rules are fairly simple:

• There are ninety potential MotUC characters (no variants) here - taken from old toys, MYP and [mini]comics - split into five separate lists (brackets) of eighteen.
• Each character starts with ten points.
• To vote, you must "heal" a character (add a point) *and* "hurt" a character (deduct a point) in each bracket. Characters which hit zero points are eliminated.
  • Please note where your vote leaves the characters you've voted on, since it'll reduce the risk of people voting on eliminated characters (I'll also post periodic total updates)
  • If you accidentally heal/hurt a character who was eliminated before you made your post, you can change your vote to a character who is still around, but please make another post to point this out, so I don't miss it.
• To start with, each poster gets one heal & one hurt vote per DAY in each bracket [was a week, but I reserved the right to adjust this if the thread looks like it's going to take a year to finish, and it was heading that way...!]. To that end, please leave at least 18 hours between votes.
• Vote on the basis of whoever you would or wouldn't like to see, not necessarily who you think'll be made. Links to pictures of each character are provided as examples, not as definitive "this is how they'll do them".
• The surviving characters go through to Round 2 in a new thread, from which ten will go through to the final.

Anticipated questions :

• Kowl, Loo-Kee, Gwildor, Rotar, the Oracle & Twistoid are intentionally left out, since on the precedent of Orko, they're too small to be their own MotUC figures.
• Cringer, Modulok, Multibot & Sagitar are borderline too-large, but until we get confirmation either way I'll leave them in.
• The brackets were chosen using this randomiser, and then alphabetised within each set. Characters with royal/etc titles are sorted by their *name*, not their title - e.g., Queen Marlena is sorted under "M". I split it into brackets because it really WOULD take a year to finish if it was all in one go
• Pictures were chosen first on the basis of using a styleguide pic if one existed, the best art pic or screenshot I could find if not, and a link to the toy if I couldn't find a decent pic in a reasonably short time. Feel free to imagine a different design if one's available - they're purely there as a guideline for anyone who doesn't know character X.
• I tried to include DC, MYP and even minicomic characters. It isn't absolutely comprehensive, but it's a reasonable sampling of the characters they can do and I won't be adding to it now (so no Darkspecter, I won't include Josh. Count yourself lucky I included the Wizardess & the blue one ). If all goes as stated, this is enough characters to last until well into 2018, even if the SDCC figures come from this list too .
• If it isn't done before the next reveal, the revealed character will be deleted, but the game won't reset.
