Teh Comb Whip's only failure was adding the whip. As posted above, the whip should've come from the handle.
The Crab shield I definitely don't understand.

As it's coming, it's just going into the useless accessories pile with Tytus', etc.

I don't know, I am anxious to see what a little heat and bending to the whip would do. If you can curl the whip and make it look like a whip instead of an erection it might be worthwhile

But I agree missed opportunity, especially seeing it in person at C2E2 it is not what pops in your head when you hear the comb will be a whip

That would have been waaay better (and also enable her to use it as a climbing tool as well, whipping the teeth part against cliffs or walls so she could scale up 'em... seeing as she's catlike and all). Cornboy is probably my favorite Horseman, as his work is CONSISTENTLY amazing. This whip comb thing baffles me though... I mean I know he's probably more a fan of MOTU than POP, but the whole point is to give the POP characters some bite.

Oh well, it is what it is... the rest of the figure is CRAZY AWESOME though!!! Her sword is great too, and the shield is pretty incredible.

Yeah that is what confused me. I mean I have not met one person who looked at the whip and said "that is badass"; so you would think when they designed it that way someone would have suggested something more along the lines of what was already said.

The sword rocks, the shield is awesome, the figure sculpt and the mask is great. But my god how did the ugly that is the comb whip get mixed in

Well maybe another version of Catra is already sculpted (accessories too), but was held back in favor of the Filmation version?

Maybe the whip was tooled a while ago?

Will he get the same Snake Form from current Hssss OR brand new Snake Form sculpt ?

Considering the 200X version King Hsss needs more new tooling’s, I am curious to ask this !

Likely. We could even do two versions of 200X King Hssss as two differtent toys, one in human form and one in snake form. Or maybe we could do him like vintage Hssss with swappable parts. Anything is possible, but nothing is planned right now. but we will keep our options open based on what our budget is when and if we get to this variant of Hssss down the road.

Having thought on this for a few days, I have to say I would personally much prefer to see 200x Hiss released as 2 separate figures: a 200x human skin Hiss and a new snake body Hiss.

I just think this is the only way the budget will allow enough effort to be put into making the snake body intimidating as it deserves, and to add articulation like shoulder swivel, 2 extra snakes like the Norem picture, hinged jaws on the arm-snakes, etc, to address all the concerns of fans.

All I'd ask is that the updated snake body be able to be removed like the current version, so it can also be swapped onto the vintage-Hiss waist.
