More dinosaurs are never a bad thing. The Battle Raptor was certainly one of the nicer beasts from the 200X line. The mold could be retooled as the Tyrantisaurus.
Allthough I'm not sure people would rmember the Bionotops and Tyrantisaurus but then again Tytus and Optikk both sold out....
I like it. The sculpt of the 200X was great. It can be one of the POG dinosaurs.

no seriously, is this one of Tytus' 'techno' dinosaurs? never got into the 200x line... so I could take a pass on this.
A raptor mount is a cool idea, but I hate that 200X shoved technology onto EVERYTHING, whether it made sense or not. Raptors do not need pistons on their legs. If anything, pistons would weigh down a raptor.

I believe Battle Raptor has no real story in 200X. He didn't even appear in the MYP toon. So I guess Mattel can do whatever they wish with him storywise.
That's one of the reasons why I suggested that Battle Raptor could be one of the Pre-Eternia dinos. Since they are all cyborg dinosaurs, Battle Raptor can fit right in as though he's always been there.
The Raptor was one of the best beasts the 200X line did. He really did fit in well with Skeletor and you can easily write up a story about dinosaurs and the Horde's techno-virus.
I really would like to see an updated version for the classics line.

i think he'd be cool - i like the idea that there's already a few dinosaur figures that could be made, but somehow they feel pretty isolated from the rest of MOTU to me, making a dinosaur mount helps bring it in to a wider MOTU story, for me at least.

Can anyone post a pic with a motuc figure on him ( or even on the attack squid). Ive been curious how well motuc figures look on the 200X vehicles.
This is one thing I passed on in the 200X line. I have zero interest in him.

Hey why not? He would fit the size price point I imagine of a Battle Cat. Just wonder if they would have any mold reuse for him which seems to be a big factor in the decisions with the beasts/giants.
Not unless we get more important vehicles/creatures first. Since this line is mostly based on the vintage line, I'd want vintage things first and foremost. I'd take a Battle Raptor as long as it's later down the road after a Land Shark and such. That and they'd have to drop the word "samurai" because that is stupid to me.
One thing that I really loved as a kid was the Spydor vehicle/creature thing. Skeletor would look awesome in that.

Sure, I'd get Battle Raptor.
I'd get it if they made it, but I don't have the 200X version. I'd rather see the POG dinosaurs first (including gigantisaur, and he has to be in the same scale to the MOTUC figures that the prototype was to the original figures!). I'd probably get a 200X samurai battle raptor to display with the MOTUC one if it ever happens. I wish that they had made a samurai panthor to go with samurai battle cat instead though. I'd buy a MOTUC Samurai Panthor!
