Would you consider the OO-Larr head a filmation He-Man Head?

I am thinking the OO-Larr head (the one on the figure not the vintage figure pack in version) would be good as a Filmation style head - think its the closest so far owing to the hair.

Wanted some opinions from fellow members on this one...

The second head is a very good vintage style one, but I don't think you can consider any of them as a filmation one

Kind of I guess. The Filmation head seemed to have been roughly based on the vintage toy, with kind of strong cheekbones, shorter nose, etc.

I wouldn't say it is a Filmation head, but it is the closest of all He-man heads.

Nope. Personally, I don't care about getting Filmation heads for anyone.
Not to sound like a creepy cheerleader for Uki, but it's nice to know there is at least one person on this forum who is extremely positive & friendly all the time. I don't think I could be that nice even if you paid me. If we ever give out awards for "forum member of the month", Uki gets my vote. -Mr. Shokoti

The not vintage Toy head is technically a mini comic head, but the Hairstyle on it works as an acceptable substitute for the Filmation head...
FINALLY!! GLIMMER IS IN MY SHELF!! Now I need a Crita!! Crita is to Mara what Evil Lyn is to Teela. If we ARE getting Mara, then we NEED Crita.

Until they make a He-Man head with a goofy perma-grin, they won't have a Filmation head.

    Agreed.
He looks too angry to be Filmation He-Man.
Did Filmation He-Man ever get angry??

There was a time he had to wear pants and a t-shirt. He was pretty angry at that.

But that's the point the Real He-Man is always angry (Vintage head's reference).

For me, "real He-Man" is vintage toy He-Man.

Bottom line it's a win - win unless Filmation is your "real He-Man".

Who's gonna take the hair off Oo-Larr and put it on the standard He-Man head?

Me! I have two Classic He-Man figures, one will have Alcala's haid and i will use it as the young He-Man at his 20's, the other will have the Vintage haid and he will be the older He-Man at his 30's.

How about take the hair off SA he-man and put on Oo-lars? Un less SA hair and head is in one piece,
For a more filmationy non snarling look

the hair on that head is too long for Filmation, I think.

I *might* put the "vintage" head on the signature He-Man figure, and put the head from *that* on the Snake Armor He-Man though; still debating either way.

What about Prince Adam? Filmation He-Man was generally a pretty happy guy; the smile from Adam might be more fitting if someone is trying to make a serious Filmation He-Man.

Personally I don't think I'll bother. I like Filmation a lot, but I don't need my He-Man to actually look that way.

I dont find either head to be Filmation...
Both seem to be the 1980's and Alcala inspired?

The BEST Filmation He-Man head I have seen was a custom sculpt done by Zombi Hamma(sp?)
Hes on here from time to time and his painted version looks like the cartoon.

No. It's a mini-comic head, which in my opinion is far more important.
Top want list: Evil Seed, Snake Mountain Man, Mask of Power Demons, Dree-Elle, Uncle Montork, Mini-Comics Beast-Man, 200x Beast-Man, Teela 2.0, Battle-Ram, Snake Mountain, & a hardcover collection of all the mini-comics.

Can someone tell me where the name Oo-larr comes from? I've googled around but can't find where it was first mentioned.

Agree with everyone else. They are 2 awesome heads, but nothing to date really captures filmation He Man for me.
