The "Ultimate" Version Of Masters Of The Universe Characters!

Most of us have an opinion as to what the best interpretations of the Masters Of The Universe characters are. Some of us like certain aspects of a character's portrayal from more than 1 source. I thought it would be fun to break down some of the characters' traits where you cite the source that you feel did it best. All of these parts would make the "ULTIMATE" MOTU character for you.

Yeah definitely Prince Adam. I didn't know what to choose for origin/history. Filmation didn't give much of one except for in the opening intro. So it's either Filmation or later mini comics.

OVERALL DESIGN: Vintage Toy (it's what started it all and has a better face & hair, imo, than MOTUC)

HAIR: Vintage Toy (a lot of the boxart has it too long, MOTUC looks like a wig, and Filmation makes him look like Prince Valiant)

FACE: Filmation (it has the perfect mix of heroic, warm, and tough)

SWORD: MOTUC (the 2 colors add a little to it)

ARMOR: MOTUC (I like the size & design of his "cross" on the vintage toy the best and MOTUC has a little more detail than it does)

VOICE/ACTING: Filmation (not only my favorite He-Man, my favorite heroic animated voice work of all time)

PERSONALITY: Filmation (that's He-Man to me; heroic, capable of kindness but still tough, & he doesn't shy away from a funny one-liner)

ORIGIN/HISTORY(or lack there of): Filmation (I want Prince Adam in my canon, MYP took away a lot of the magic, and MOTUC is unnecessarily complex)

If you mean toy, then the MOTUC for everything but the hair, which goes to the 2002/this version.

Personality - 2002
Sword - 2002 (it is just way more intricate than the basic Filmaton/original toy one)
Voice - Cam Clark
Origin/History - 2002

To me, the 2002 stuff is the definitive version for story telling and most of the designs. I do prefer Man-At-Arms' original toy design and MOTUC design best though, but of course the mustache is who he is.

PERSONALITY: Mini Comics... but not all of them. In the early minis(which are my favorites) he was kind of a big dumb brute, and I didn't always like that. The later mini's found a perfect balance of Filmation's cheesiness, and the early comic's heroic warriorness. lol. if that makes sence.
