The Faceless One - Ancient Lord of Zalesia
Real Name: Nikolas Powers
As the ruler of Zalesia, Nikolas Powers was entrusted by King Grayskull to guard the city's great magical objects - the Havoc Staff and the mystical Ram Stone. Powers was a core member of Grayskull's Council of Elders, great mages from across Eternia who had the wisdom to tap into the planet's hidden magical secrets. But by marrying and having a daughter, he broke the Elder's treaty with King Hssss to not produce any heirs. Powers was stripped of his humanity, condemned to never leave Zalesia and forced to watch his beloved city destroyed by Serpos. Now called "The Faceless One", he asked the wizard-warrior He-Ro, to use the power of Central Tower to send his daughter, Evelyn into the future. There, with his immortality, he hoped to raise heraway from the terror of the Great Wars.

Sounds good and looks great! A lot of this is from the MVC Comics, right? As far as the whole Serpos destroying Zalesia, and his having Lyn being a big no-no... I would love to know more about this weird-ass treaty with Hssss and the whole Three Towers thing... what exactly do the good citizens of Eternia get out of the whole thing? Just kind of sounds like Hssss got to call the shots and make all kinds of rules for the planet to abide by...
anyhoo... I think the final paint job on The Faceless One's... erm... face... looks good being mostly all white like that with blackened eyes. Rather Michael Myers-ish, eh?
The final ram stone looks great too!
PS- until they tell us otherwise, I'm going with Shokoti as his wife, ha ha!

The MVC version was much better with Keldor's involvement and all. I don't like that the Council of Wise is left out. Maybe there's a chance they will still be added to the roster of the Elders instead. But this ain't encouraging.

Honestly, I'm just too tired to get upset over these things anymore. I've accepted that we're only going to get sloppy, poorly-framed writing with the bios and I'm praying that whenever we (IF) we get new media, that Mattel actually pays someone that has talent when it comes to crafting and delivering a written narrative.

Also want to know how what his powers are. I know he's a sorcerer/wizard type guy, but at what level? Obviously not He-Ro, but did he reach a certain level like Marzo and Skeletor?
Another bio I'm not fond of. Why on earth would the Elders enter into a treaty with a condition being not to produce any heirs? I think it would've made more sense that he would've been punished for allowing the city of Zalesia to perish as a result of turning over the artifact that allowed Hsss to control Serpos in exchange for Evil Lyn. I mean, why would the Elders make him watch his city be destroyed? Weren't they supposed to be a force for good?
I'm also not a fan of sending Evil Lyn into the future myself, but that's just me. It just seems like sloppy writing to me.
