that is a gorgeous custom. Very well done.
I really need to get a snake puppet for my Fright Zone, and try to get my Grayskull up to snuff.
My Snake Mountain is just the shell, and from what I hear, it's pretty difficult to complete, so I'll save that project for another day, but I would like to have a complete Vintage Grayskull.
Awesome custom passiondesigns.![]()
Don't want to distract the conversation too far away from the MOTUC toys but here's more info about the "funky" skeletor toys that many are wondering about... (Admin please feel free to move this post elsewhere if needed)...
As most of you already guessed it, both of the pieces are customs fan-made. And no, I didn't make them - I wish I had the kind of artistic skills...
The big square one is from a 10" MAD*L customization contest held this past winter by a designer toy store/gallery called DeliciousDrip in San Francisco. The artist's name is Joe Grady aka RebelWookiee, who does a lot of custom designer vinyls. The skeletor piece was one of the best entries in the show and fortunately it was not sold at the event so i was able to purchase this one-of-a-kind collectible on DD's website.
here's couple WIP pictures of the MAD*L skeletor:
and here's a picture to the finished product:
The smaller round figure is a custom made from a Star Wars Mighty Mugg... The artist (joeybones) is a member here at .org and posted it in the marketplace when he auctioned it on eBay

I love the piece it's cute yet evil and menacing...
anyway, i'm a long time lurker and new poster... love the forum and the contributions by fellow fans from all over the world...

SLUSH HEAD FINALLY SHOWED UP IN MOTUC YAY!!!
Love the Shadow Beast customs! If Mattel made that I'd buy a few!
If they did make it, I'd hope they make a larger torso that could later be used for a bigger more hulking Beastman!
"Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?" Jesus replied: " 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments" (Matthew 22:36-40).
Hi,
I have been using these capes for Skeletor and He-man. The one from He-man is from a Mephisto I bought 2 off for the awesome Skeletor thrones. I cut off the backhead piece. It matches the lioncloth color pretty closely and gives He-man that wandering and fighting Barbarian look.
What I really like is the Etrigan the Deamon cape I used for him. I still need to paint him but I really think it looks good on Skeletor. It has a great buckle on the front and IMO fits the hood nicely. Anyway, have a look:

those capes look cool, especially on skeletor.
Etrigan's cape looks awesome on Skeletor. You should paint it purple to match his harness.

Love both the capes! Not only does it look great, but it also solves the problem of having his neck visible beneath the hood!
I'm certainl raiding my Etrigan tonight!

Stratos with fixed wings thanks to the generous help of Vorgon.
First pic is the before version, second is after version.
A really great improvement in my opinion.
Many thanks to the Great Vorgon!
Hey all,
I wanted a nice place to display my He Man Classics Figures. I figured a Grayskull door would be a cool thing to do. I have always tried to make little diorama areas for random toys. As you can see I took the whole Door thing a little further.
I know it is not the most accurate grayskull, more of an amalgam of many diff takes on it. I may try another sculpt someday. But this one doesn't look too bad I think. It is prety much the front wall...a full one would be like 3 feet or more deep. And alot more plaster..lol
Enjoy my madness..laffs
